Author's Note: The clothes she was given are somewhat similar to the picture above.

The next morning Mira woke up snuggled among furs that were used to create a bed. Slowly sitting up Mira sleepily rubbed her eyes. She suddenly froze forgetting that she wasn't within the castle anymore. Feeling a slight chill Mira looked down. She was surprised to note that her clothes had been changed while she was asleep. Mira was wearing a thin white night dress that had a small amount of lace along the top. Looking around the room Mira realized that she couldn't see Niella anywhere. Mira began to panic and was about to run outside to search for Niella when walked into the tent. Seeing that Mira was awake Corvo said, "Good morning child. If you're wondering where your sister is, she is with Linda. She woke up earlier and began to fuss. We figured that after such an exhausting day yesterday that you deserved some more rest."

Feeling silly for panicking Mira responded with, "Oh... I'm sorry that she bothered you. She probably wanted to be fed."

"It wasn't a bother. Most people in this group wake up early. As for Ella being hungry, we recently had a woman within the group that gave birth. She volunteered to feed little Ella." Corvo said as he pulled out an outfit that looked decidedly like male clothes. The shirt was billowy and white with a red sash that went from shoulder to hip. The pants were black and accompanied with boots.

Noticing Mira looking at the clothes that he had brought Corvo said, "Sorry. The only clothes that we had that would fit you were those of Adjit's son, Amun. He was kind enough to let us borrow a set of his clothes. They should fit you. When we get to the next town we can get you some female clothes."

Though most women would only wear skirts and dresses, Mira tended to wear male clothes while she was training. In order to assure the man that she was alright with the clothes Mira said, "It's alright. I used to wear male clothing in order to mover easier while practicing."

"Oh? What did you practice?" Corvo curiously wondered.

Unsure whether or not she should tell the truth, Mira decided to go with the truth. She answered, "I would practice with knives and swords whenever I could."

"Maybe you could join in with our performances at some point if you want. You could do sword dancing or battle performances. Now I'll wait outside the tent while you change." Corvo suggested while walking out the entrance.

After changing Mira walked outside where Corvo was waiting for her. Steering Mira forward Corvo said, "Come on. Linda is most likely almost finished with preparing breakfast. After breakfast we will most likely have to be on our way."

Slightly nervous Mira asked, "Ella and I can go with you?"

Laughing Corvo said, "Don't you remember what I told the guard yesterday?" Seeing Mira's confused expression Corvo continued, "My wife and I adopted you. You're both our children."

"But didn't you only say that in order to get past the guards?" Mira asked.

"While that is certainly a reason/ there is certainly no way that we can just leave two children on their own. Besides I don't think my Linda will be letting Ella go anytime soon." Corvo answered as they arrived at the campfire. Linda was making breakfast while Niella was slung on her back in a makeshift baby sling.

Upon turning around and seeing Mira, Linda said, "Good morning Mira. Breakfast will be ready in a little while. In the meantime why don't you play with Ella." Carefully taking Niella out of the makeshift sling. "Ella. Look who just woke up." Linda said while showing Niella where Mira was.

Upon seeing her big sister, Niella started to shriek with happiness while holding her chubby arms out to be taken. Taking Niella from Linda, Mira softly said, "Come her my little baby." Cuddling Niella close Mira smiled gently down at her. As the children began to play, Linda went back to making breakfast after watching the girls for a minute.

Linda had just finished preparing breakfast when the group began to gather. Everyone grabbed a plate of breakfast and sat around the campfire. Mira had just begun to eat when someone sat beside her. Looking over she found a boy around her age sitting beside her. The boy looked nearly identical to Adjit and she could only assume that he was Adjit's son, Amun. He had golden skin and dirty blonde hair. His eyes were a captivating emerald green similar to his father, however they were slightly darker.

The boy spoke up saying, "Hello. My name is Amun." He held out his hand and Mira took it. Mira was surprised when Amun lifted her hand and kissed the top of it.

Blushing Mira responded, "Hello, I am Mira. Thank you for letting me borrow some of your clothes."

Smiling at her, Amun complimented, "They look amazing on you."

Mira's face turned a deeper red, she would have started to splutter if etiquette hadn't been forced into her mind during lessons at the castle. Instead she quietly thanked him for his compliment. Suddenly James spoke up in a teasing voice saying, "Jeez, kids these days. Romance is starting early these days apparently." As he teased them, Amun and Mira blushed while looking away. He continued, "You're too young for romance. Start as friends." Everyone began to laugh because they had also noted that the children were acting as though they were flirting teenagers even though they were only eight. Eventually everyone calmed down and continued to eat their breakfast. Once breakfast was finished everyone began to pack up their camp in order to continue their travel to the next town.

Walking up to Corvo, Mira asked, "Where are we going exactly?"

Corvo answered, "We're going to Rookridge in Dusk Kingdom." Seeing Mira's shocked and worried expression he asked, "What's wrong?"

Looking up Mira said, "Before I escaped the castle with Ella my big sister told me that she would meet me in the Dawn Kingdom. I didn't know that this caravan was going in the opposite direction."

Corvo reassured Mira, "I'm sorry child. The caravan might travel to Dawn Kingdom in a few years. There are a lot of towns that we go to in Dusk Kingdom and then we go through Daybloom, then to Dawn Kingdom. Though this time we will most likely not go to the capital of Daybloom Kingdom because of the unrest. I'm sure that your sister will wait for you."

Slightly saddened, but accepting of the situation Mira replied, "Alright."

After their discussion the caravan set off on their way to the next town, hoping to get there before the end of the day.
