I SAW A GIANT RAINBOW

It was raining when the train left,
Open window, cold breeze swept
Songs, singing, fun and acts,
Reached Karjat with wet facts

It was still raining, early dawn,
Cold and cloudy, vada pav hot,
Tea, coffee, chocolate, toffee
Young at hearts left for trek

Midway to Matheran, green meadows wet,
Suddenly clouds gathered, darkening and rain
From eastern sky, sun rays made a spot,
Westward magic saw colourful plot

Seven colours big giant rainbow,
In magnificent sky
Everybody saw it,
With astonishment in their eyes

Overjoyed we snapped it,
Photos and 'in eyes',
With sweet memories
Enjoyed the trek with Goodbyes'..........
