cuts and kittens [bokuaka] (discontinued)

before we get started

cuts and kittens is a bokuaka angst story about akaashi, who suffers from depression and who self-harms, and bokuto, who has abusive parents.

when someone notices akaashi's cuts, he covers by saying they are from the cats at the animal shelter he works at. when his friends demand to visit the shelter, he has to quickly find a job at an animal shelter.

the shelter he works at is also where bokuto works. he uses it as an excuse to get away from his house because of his abusive parents.

there will be themes/mentions of abuse, self harm, suicide, death, and maybe more. i will try to remember to put warnings when necessary, but i'm warning you now i may forget too. 

personally i have some firsthand experience with depression and self harm, but everyone's experiences are different so i'm sorry if this is different than your struggle. also, while my parents and i may not have the best relationship, they are a far cry cry from abusive, so, again, i apologize if they are depicted in a way that seems unrealistic or odd.
