Chapter Twenty-Six
HEARING HER VOICE it only brought irritation, feeling the anger slowly build up.
"Adriano?"
Shaking my head out of annoyance I let my handgrip the metal rail of the staircase as we soon reached our room as the tension I felt intensify each second.
Not wanting to hear anything more from her I quickly made my way to the room as I slammed the door behind me.
Unbuttoning the shirt that was already straining from the apparent anger.
"Baby what's wrong?"
Not wanting to listen to her anymore I walked into the closet I tuned out of her one-sided conversation with me, while I focused my entire attention on my closet.
Tossing the shirt into the bin, I unbuckled the belt and didn't notice Sky was standing right beside me until she cleared her throat.
"Baby, why are you mad at me?"
She took a step closer to me as she wrapped her hands across my chest while I heard her take a shaky breath. Not wanting to give in to her hold I took her hands off of me as I backed her into the wall caging her frame as one of my hands snaked it's way to her hair as I scrunched it one hand straining her neck forcing her to look at me directly in the eye.
Speaking in a quiet tone I could see the tears stinging at the brim of her eyes once again threatening to fall out as she tries to figure out what got me so worked up, I looked at her giving her an incredulous stare as my other hand cupped her face squishing her cheeks as confusion took over.
"Are you fucking kidding me or are you just playing dumb?"
I didn't bother to see the hurt on her face as I continued speaking and venting all the anger in one go. Letting one hand go I slightly pushed her back into the wall, I let my anger ripple out on her actions.
"If anyone did what you just did earlier I would have shot a bullet in the center of their forehead, killing them in one shot. I told you to fucking move away from her but you just had to show me you could do it all, hmm?"
I emphasized the center as I let my finger point to the center of her forehead showing I wasn't kidding of any sort.
Putting her fear aside she held on to my hand that was gripping her neck her breathing began to hitch from second to second.
"Adriano, you would have scared her. She wouldn't have opened up to us like that, at least now you know that she's not lying-"
"Right, and how would you know that she wasn't lying?!"
Taking another step towards her I shook my head in what seemed like a disappointment as the anger was clear as daylight I clenched my jaw as I felt nothing but anger towards her.
