Alan’s POV
I wake up, I didn’t get much sleep but that isn’t something out of the ordinary these days.
I’m in a bad mood from the boy with the tattoo’s taking my sleep away..
I go into the living room and my mom is sitting at the table with my sister, I slump down beside Chelsea and put my head down.
“Alan why are you so grumpy?” Chelsea ruffles my messy head of hair
“nothing” I grumble
“Do you know what today is?”
“No”
“Alan we’re leaving for Warped today!” she shakes my arm excitedly
I sit up quickly
“Chelsea are you serious”
“100%” She smiles
“OH MY GOD WHEN?I FORGOT ”
“About an hour!”
I run into my room and quickly throw things into a small bag that I will need to last me today and tomorrow.
After I’m done I run back out to my sister and mother.
“I’m done can we go now!” I jump up and down
“I need to talk to you two first” My mom says firmly
“Ugh” I flop into a chair
“You two need to be safe. Don’t get into anyone’s car, don’t bring anyone home, don’t leave anything of yours out of sight, and please don’t go into those retched mop pits or whatever you call them. Chelsea don‘t you let him go into one okay? And keep your eye on him! Stay together at all times! Hold han-”
“Mom we’re fine..” Chelsea attempts to reassures my frantic mother
“And mom I’m not a little kid I’m 18 you know” I complain as she pulls my sister and I into a hug.
“You’re still a small guy and I don’t want you to get hurt” She kisses my forehead “And Alan, you watch your sister too. Don’t let any guys get to her”
“Don’t worry about it mum, I got it” I smile at her
“Alright, I love you two! Be careful!”
“Bye Mom!” My sister and I recite as we leave out the door, towards the bus station
