Austin’s POV
I look down at my phone to check the time.. Fuck it’s dead.
I leave the mellow crowd of the current band I am listening to in search of a phone charging booth.
I’m pretty sure the booth is pretty close, so I continue walking straight. I see the top of the booth and breathe a sigh of relief, but something is pulling me to turn to the right.. I give in to temptation and begin wandering away from the charging tent, into the crowds of people.. What am I doing? I don’t even know.. Something is just telling me I need to go this way. I see a part of the main tent, and the invisible force pushes me on
So I slowly walk towards the huge tent, nervous for some reason,
I walk the perimeter of the tent, dragging my hand along the side of the material and looking directly at my feet. I turn the second corner, I feel people watching me now. Wondering what is going on, who let the crazy guy in? I approach the third corner, more confused eyes on me, I turn the corner
“fuck!”
I feel my body begin to fall to the ground, I tripped over someone’s legs I believe
“I’m really sorry ..” I begin to look up to apologize to the person I tripped over
I see his legs first, thin but fairly short compared to mine, then I see his arm… I see tattoo’s … I see his face and his hair…. Flaming and red…
My feel all my blood leave my face, I feel like I’m going to pass out, I grasp the side of the tent, and hold my mouth
I think I’m going to throw up.
The boy on the opposite side of me opens his mouth, as if to talk. But I see a tear fall from his face.
We both don’t say a word. We just stare at each other, as if we both know what is going on.
Finally the red haired boy speaks “I - I know you”
His voice is quiet, and unique
I reply “I know you, too”
He looks me directly in the eyes “I’m Alan”
“Austin” I smile at him
