Silence befallen between them as the slow moving car moves through a destination unbeknownst to only Touya the moment he sat inside the car and hoping for it stop back in front of my house.

"Where are we going?" He finally decided to ask while he bend his back with his elbow resting well on his thighs, practically glaring up with his eyebang noticeable with every passing sunlight through the window.

"You'll see" The girl, still in school uniform despite the school haven't even open for the summer break. Tani Kurosawa, with her head titled upwards "Though, rest assured as it does involved my latest case" She mention which immediately clicks inside Touya's head with the Burnt Mermaid case.

Kurosawa's face resting on top of her palm and her elbow sat across on the window slit, watching every move that Touya would make with the smirk and a slight shine in her eyes. A red thick book was placed gently on her crossed lap and her right hand resting on top of it

"But why? Hasn't the case been settled yet?" He questioned.

"Obviously not, we are only moving towards the climax of the story" She closed her eyes, thinking before continuing "Do you know full story of EmI Tachibana's case? Or at least, do you have an understanding of what had happened?"

Touya nodded his head which Kurosawa let out an exhaled breath "Good, that saved me a little bit more time" As she pulled out at the documents which she printed 2 weeks prior. "This is classified documents so you better start learning to shut your mouth after you read it" She explained as she handed it to him.

Meanwhile, Kurosawa start reading the red book in her hand in silent, waiting for Touya to finish reading the document. As Touya reads slowly, even the information that was already known to public, he read but that is, until he passed by the page with the pictures of Emi Tachibana's burned body and felt something ignite inside him.

His heart was thumping against his cage rib and his face had engulf itself in heat by the seconds as he picked the picture from the paper clip that attached it to the file, staring, memorized the look of the body. The same familiar feeling he got when he see the aftermath of the bodies of trees burning down from his fire the day he trained with his dad. It enthralled his very being and he want to keep taking in the aftermath picture of Tachibana's body.

He gasped softly when he realized the thoughts he's having. Closing his eyes and slowly breathing in the cool air of the car 'Focus, Touya. The sooner you can settle this, the sooner you can see your family'

He skipped the other pages with pictures and got into section that detailing Tachibana's personal life. Reading and obsording all of the information carefully as he continue to read through it.

Tachibana was the daughter of two lawyers working in Tokyo 'So, her family must have a lot of money' He thoughts as he continues. She was bright young girl that excel in academic and athletic sport in her school but then she started downloading the Candies app that was originally made for dating app but turned into a meet up app for sugar baby and daddies or mommies 'It's not surprised with that kind of name' He scoffed, thinking to himself that Tachibana must be in desperate need of money when she's willing to make herself the product.

He turned towards the quietly reading girl next to him as she placed the open book on her thigh and reading it without bending down her back.

"Emi Tachibana's parents are lawyers, right?" He asked and without even lifting her head from her book, Kurosawa answered "Ding ding ding!" mimicking a ringtone "When did you get so smart?" She laughed.
