*this isn't really a poem but I felt the need to share. I wrote it like a month ago and forgot to put it here..... Shove off if you don't like it*
Listening to bands like mayday parade, all time low, rocket to the moon, state champs etc. makes me want to sneak out at midnight and go for a drive, lay in the bed of a truck and observe the stars. Fall in love with a punk rocker boy who has messy hair and bright eyes. Stare at his breathtaking smile and little freckles that splatter his lovely skin. Have sex that you can be comfortable and stumble around laughing at each other's clumsiness. Not give a single fuck about anything but enjoying the wonderful parts of the world. Go on adventures and not keep track of the time. Get high as shit and just laugh. Smile and fuck off doing whatever makes me feel free. That's what music should do to you. That's what making music should be about. If your music can effect people like that, then you're doing something right.
