EKACHAKRAPURA- THE STRANGE CITY...

CTND...

Pandavas, with a heavy heart left hidimbi and his son. They travelled to a city - a strange city called Ekachakrapura. This sure was strange, there were abundant houses, wailing people and silent streets. There were a few men who kept silent and worked. The pandavas were confused, but they were taken in a house with four people- the father,mother,son and daughter.

The woman of the house was wailing and hearing the cry, Kunti walked in and asked them what was the reason of their cries. The family replied that there was a demon called Bakasura, Who ate all the foods and cattle of the village people so they made a deal- "They would send 1 man with food for the demon to eat" and now it was the potters turn.

They were fighting for who would go to the demon to be eaten up. The man said- " I shall go as I am the man of the family and this is my duty to protect you" But the woman and the children repeated-"We will go . we will go"! :(

But then Kunti said- "Let one of my sons go, i have 5 but u have 1." And they accepted the offer ASAP. Hearing this, the pandavas were at first not convinced, but on their mother's command they didnt even Question once.

Then there was a discussion and it was decided that Bheem, being the strongest and the bravest among them all will go with the cattles and cart of food and defeat/ kill the demon ;) and return and so Bheem agreed....
