Later that night, Maeve went to Miguel's place again to train, but when she arrived he didn't seem as focused. 
"Hey, are you ok? We can totally reschedule, we don't have to do this today." She told him. 
Miguel quickly shook his his head, sitting down next to her on his bed. 
"No, no, it's just... sensei trusts Kreese more and more and I don't know if that's a good thing. I mean today at the dojo he acted so strange, like he's planning something. I don't know, I just feel weird about him being in the dojo." He told her. 
"Yeah, I don't like him in the dojo either. But I do trust my dad to make the right decisions." She told him smiling softly. 
He returned the smile. 
"Yeah, you're right. Ok, now let's recap the moves you've learned yesterday." He told her standing up and getting into a fighting position, which she copied.
And that's how the next week went by, she spent her time alternating between the two dojo's, since Demetri wasn't comfortable enough to go alone the first few times. 
She watched him complain about every single thing he had to do, making Maeve try to hold in her giggles. 
Maeve almost felt bad for Daniel as he tried his best to teach Demetri karate.
Today she was at her dads dojo. 
They were all sitting in a circle, watching Johnny and Kreese fight. 
Her dad grabbed his leg. 
"You're a little rusty, sensei." Johnny told him, Kreese then caught him in a chokehold. 
"Ok, pay attention. He's got my neck, I've got his elbow. If I try to break out..." Johnny demonstrated, making Kreese hold him even tighter. 
"I dig in and I put him to sleep." The older man told them. 
"If I go for his ribs..." Johnny demonstrated another move. 
"He completely exposes his chest." Kreese finished his sentence again. 
They got back in position. 
"Two difficult choices. What do you do?" Johnny then kicked Kreese's leg from under him, making them both fall. 
"You damn the consequences and you power forward." Johnny told them standing up again.
