FULL MOON pt3/4 : Lonely

Two days left before the full moon ceremony.

The hunters had come back from hunting and everything was very rushed.

Almost everyone had chores to do except for the male omegas,
Jimin and Jungkook.

They were sitting in the living room when Felix came in.

"Jimin! Yoongi hyung is looking for you", he said.

Jimin stood up and followed him without a word.

Jungkook huffed in disbelief.
Well looks like he's the only one who's free now.

He was about to stand and go to his room when Namjoon came rushing in.

"oOh thank god. You're my life savour", he said as he stood in front of the male omega.

"What is it hyung? ", he asked Namjoon.

"Can you do me a favor? You see I'm helping to chop the meat and there's something I had to give Taehyung but I can't because I'm busy. So can you please give him these? ", he said in one breath.

Jungkook was about to refuse but Namjoon had already given him two files.
"Thanks Kook. I'll make it up to you later ", he said and left.

Jungkook let out a huff..
"Seems like I don't have a choice", he said and started making his way to the Alpha's office.

On his way, he caught a glimpse of the black haired Alpha called Mingyu helping skin off the deer.

He smiled and waved at him then continued to make his way to Taehyung's office.

When he arrived, he knocked twice on the door before he heard 'come in'

He hesitantly entered but was met with darkness. Not even the light from outside was noticeable.

"Hello??", he called out.
Receiving no answer he started searching for the light switch and when he found it, he switched it on.

Oh how he wished he didn't.

There in front of him, he saw the lifeless looking Alpha sitting on his office chair.

Taehyung looked like a zombie. Dark circles had become his friend.

"Are you gonna stand there and stare or are you going to give me the files?", the alpha suddenly said, snapping the omega out
of this thoughts.

Jungkook cleared his throat
"S-sure", he said and moved forward.

He put the file on the table and just stood there staring at the alpha.

Even though he liked seeing him suffer, he couldn't help but get worried about the Alpha. He was still his mate after all.

Taehyung sighed, "What now??", he asked.

"Are you okay? Did you rest?", he asked worriedly.

Taehyung just nodded. He was kind of happy to see the omega caring for him like this.

"Did you eat? You look terrible! ", Jungkook said. "Did Nayeon even give you food?"

Well seems like that tiny little blissful feeling never happened when he heard those words.

"Are you done? I wanna be alone", he said and took the files from the table.

Jungkook just nodded and went to the door. He was about to go when Taehyung asked, "Are you happy Kookie?"

The question caught him off guard. He turned and made eye contact with the prime Alpha.

He saw nothing but concern, pain and something else he couldn't explain.

"Yes, I'm very happy Taehyung. More than I have ever being", he said with a smile.

He watched as the Prime Alpha sighed and nodded with a tight smile.
"Very well. Always be happy Kookie and don't let go of the person who made you feel that way. You may go now", he said as he darted his eyes away from the male omega.

Jungkook nodded and opened the door.

"Take care of yourself Wolfie and call Nayeon to come and give you food", he said as he closed the door.

The moment the door closed, Taehyung let out a sob he was holding back and put his head on the table.

"I broke things with her, Kookie", he sobbed out.

Flashback
2 days ago

Taehyung was doing paper work when Nayeon entered.
He sighed and looked at her.

"Get out", he said sternly.
The female Alpha scoffed.
"Why? I'm your mate", she said.

Taehyung stood up and walked towards her.
"I no longer want anything to do with you. You... Me... We are done",he said as he stood up in front of her.

Nayeon looked at him with wide eyes.
"You c-can't do this to me!", she said.

"I'm doing both of us a favor. You are cheating on me and my heart loves someone else", Taehyung said. "Let's end this Nayeon-ah. It's for the best"

Nayeon said nothing and just left the office with teary eyes.

Flashback end

"I deserve this pain don't I? Is this how Kookie felt when I was with someone else? Did he feel this lonely? If only I knew how you felt", he said as he took the photo on the table.

It was a picture of his mother and father.

"I disappointed you guys a lot, didn't I? Eomma I'm sorry I didn't treat my mate like you always told me. I'm sorry I took him for shit", he caressed the photo with tears escaping from his eyes. "Appa forgive me for disappointing you. I already lost him. We are rejecting each other soon and he already has someone who makes him happy. Gosh I love him and I'm so damn scared of it."

He sighed and put down the photo. He then stood up and went to the window.

Searching the pack territory, his eyes went to the two figures talking while holding hands . It was Mingyu and Jungkook.

'He looks happy'-he thought as he stared at them.

Even though his heart broke at the fact that he's not the one who is holding his hand and making him smile, at least the younger is not in pain anymore.

He would do anything to see him happy, even if it means letting him go.

Even if it means living alone for his entire life in loneliness.

Even if it means killing those who want hurt him in any way, just to see him happy.

He already lost him so what's more to lose?

He wiped his tears and smiled.

"From now on I'll protect you and love you from afar Kookie. I'll try not to get in your way"

I kinda got emotional
