Murray!?

Ben's POV

I don't remember much of what happened in the past 7 minutes. I only remember being sedated and hearing Jawa's revelation about BLAST. 

"Look who's back!" someone hissed. It was that kid again. If he had been sedated by the same thing me and Erica were sedated by. He would also wake up quickly.

"You again." I snapped.

"Yes. Me again." he smirked. He didn't get to say anything else because he fell down onto the floor seconds after. What I saw surprised me.

"No way." me and Mike said, standing there in shock. He had been sedated, by

Murray Hill

"Murray!?" I screamed.

"Uh yeah. It's me." he said. I thought my mouth couldn't open any wider. "That sedative's only gonna last for 10 more minutes. I suggest we get as far away from here in that time." As we ran I kept thinking that maybe I was still under the sedative and was just dreaming. So I pinched myself.

"Ow!" I yelped. Nope, definitely awake.

"Listen Ben. I'm done being evil, it sucks. I've been investigating BLAST for months with no success. But you guys, they came right to you. I didn't even know it was called BLAST until 10 minutes ago."

"So you've been watching us this whole time?" Erica asked, annoyed. "Why didn't you try to help.

"Because it didn't get serious until that kid  came into your room. He's not real, he was created." Murray replied calmly.

"So, he's like an artificial being?" I asked still confused.

"Yes, just like that. I believe his name is Lance. He wasn't told his name so I just figured it out."

"How?" Erica asked. 

"Like I said, I've been investigating BLAST for months with no success. His name was the only thing I could find."  

"Okay? What role does he play in BLAST right now?" I asked.

"A really big one. He's the star of the show for Operation: Phantom Menace."

"I knew that something about him was bugging me!" Jawa exclaimed.

"That's not good." I said, hit by another revelation. 

"Why?" Erica asked. But I never got to answer because the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex exploded, and we were right next to it.

"Guys! We gotta get to the subway!" Mike screamed. Everything was blowing up, building after building. As we were running people were getting out of their cars and running for what might become their very short lives. When I was close to the subway the building closest to it blew up and started to fall, and, I was unfortunately in its range.

"Ben! Keep going, you can make it!" Erica screamed, definitely on the verge of tears. So, I ran, as fast as I could. And then the building finished falling.

BOOM!!!

Erica's POV 

As I saw Ben get crushed by the building, I started crying. Full on tears, there was a 99.99% chance that he just died. I tried to dry up my tears, but that just made it even worse. 

Murray's POV

Oh come on! We were gonna get back to the school safe and sound. Me going to the prison for a while, but then getting back to classes. Erica's never gonna get over this, especially for the fact that she is doing nothing but cry.

Mike's POV

I... I don't know what to say, Zoe hugged me as I started crying full on, I felt like committing suicide right then, but Zoe, I couldn't let her be alone. 

Zoe's POV

Oh... my... God. I hugged Mike as he started crying, Erica was crying too. Murray was trying to comfort Erica, but to no avail. I was on the verge of tears too. 

Chip's POV

Oh wow. Didn't think his life would end like that. Erica got up and started pulling away all the rubble, so everyone else started to help. While, the rest of the city was nowhere to be seen. What was Ben going to tell us?

Jawa's POV

As we started pulling away at the rubble, I couldn't help but cry. Because Ben, knowing him, wouldn't have survived that. Cyrus, would've just shrugged it off as if he just got bit by a mosquito. But Ben isn't Cyrus, Ben's... well, Ben.

Erica's POV

What I found, shocked me. Ben's body, just laying there peacefully and he was, smiling. 

"Guys! Come check this out! I found Ben, but we need to pull him out." I said.

"Erica, you do realize there's like a .01% chance he's even alive?" Zoe said.

"That's a chance I'm willing to take."
