Goliath and Angel

Prologue

"Mr and Mrs. Xanatos your baby is born with a very rare condition called Gargoyle Syndrome, It's where she looks like she is half Gargoyle but....." Dr. Shorto was trying to explain what was wrong with her baby but Cruella asked "Dr. Shorto are you saying my baby is disabled?" "No not at all she can do anything a normal child can do she just looks different " "I think she is perfect" her father said as he was just happy that his baby was healthy "What's her name?" "Angel....Angel Xanatos." Angel Xanatos was born on November 25, 1973 and she has never meet he father but knows that her mother want's nothing to do with her because of it. She is half human and half Gargoyle after her great great grandmother and now that Angel is older her mother wants her to disappear "Mommy! Please don't send me away I will be better I promise" but her mother wouldn't listen all because she looked like her father and her mother missed him so much and so she became so angry at her "NO! You are going to your uncles because of you your father is dead you are a freak and I want nothing more to do with you......Y-Y-YOU MONSTER!" "Before you leave I want you to meet Gavin" that's when Angel for the very first time ever experienced really horrible pain "This is for my best friend that you killed freak" he beat her as he said really hurtful things to her to make her not want to have anything to do with anyone then he did the unthinkable her he took her innocence from her so she now trust no man with her heart and after he was done he then left Angel to pack her things but little did Angel know that she was about to go on the most amazing adventure of her life and maybe even have the greatest love she will ever know. Goliath has a great deal of pride, responsibility, affection and loyalty for his clan. He is willing to avenge his clan members that were killed when he wasn't there to save them he blames himself for that day. He will do anything to protect what is left of his clan and those who threaten or harm his loved ones will regret it. Goliath wants to prove the humans that he respects their laws and order he might seem a little too serious at times but he does have a since of humor. He also acts as a father figure to the young gargoyles which he has trouble adapting to the modern world but has learned quickly new laws and technology of the modern world. Goliath still holds tight to the believe that the castle is still his and his clans home stubbornly at first but then his clan convinced him that it was suicide to stay remain there as he then later expresses that all of Manhattan was their home that they will protect no matter what.

"One thousand years ago superstition and the sword ruled, It was a time of darkness, It was a world of fear, It was the age of Gargoyles....Stone by day warriors by night we were betrayed by the humans we had sworn to protect, Frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years, Now here in Manhattan...The spell is broken and we live again......We are defenders of the night we are Gargoyles"
