Angel was reading a book when she realized that the sun was setting so she put her book mark in her book and then went out side to wait for Gargoyles to wake up for the night. As Goliath and his friends woke up Angel was smiling "How'd you sleep?" Goliath liked waking up to see Angel "I slept well lets go see the others" so they glided down to where the trio stood "Where do you think you're going?" "To explore the city after all we can't spend the rest of out lives in the castle" "Very well stay close to the castle and stay out of sight" "Well Goliath are you ready to meet up with Elisa" "Yes but I have a favor can you go with the trio and make sure that they don't get into any trouble" "Sure" "Goliath we don't need a baby sitter" "She knows the city and you all will need a guide" "Alright" then off they went Goliath then turns to the old Gargoyle "Are you coming old friend?" "No some one had to watch the castle" but the old gargoyle knew that he was going to follow him to make sure that he was not going to be ambushed. Angel and the trio were flying around when she noticed that the small green one was looking down at something then heard "Cool I have to take a closer look" "No! Wait!" and Angel went a snatched him up and landed on the roof top near by "You were told by Goliath to not let anyone see you" "Sorry Angel I just wanted to look at his machine" then Angel began to think "I have a place where you take a look at one up close and personal" "Where?" asked the big blueish greenish one "Trust me" so they followed her off the roof top and they came to a place where there were tons of old motor cycles she walked up to the fiance "Hey Jason are you here?" "Yeah come on in make yourself at home" "Can my friends come in and take a look around?" "Sure and the security cameras are off too so you are safe here Angel" "Thanks Jason, Come on guys" at first they were scared of walking out there in front of the guy "Trust me Jason won't tell anyone" so they walked out and a huge smile "So there are other Gargoyles out there WOW!" but Angel and the trio all looked down in sadness "They are the last ones left of their kind Jason" "Me and my big mouth sorry guys" but then he began to show them all of the cool things that they saw on the roads then off they went to see other cool things "Look Goliath will be happy that we meet your friend Angel" the red Gargoyle said "We will not tell him unless that's what you want" as they all looked at each other "If he asks we tell him" she smiled then they visited Broadway Street, Brooklyn Heights and Lexington Ave telling each of them about how they all got their names then they headed back to the castle "So how was your exploration of New York City were trying to find shelter from the people who attacked?" "It was the best thanks Angel". Goliath and Elisa tried to make it back to the castle but the sun was rising and he was so tired because of the tranquilizer they shot him with "Its almost sunrise can't make it home in time" "Why what happens at sunrise?" then she heard foot steps and knew that they had to move or they would be caught "Goliath we have to move" but when she turned her head back around to look at him he turned to stone and she was shocked "Goliath, GOLIATH!" she knew that she had to do something so she made the decision to distract them. However back at the castle the trio and Angel had arrived just before sun rise meeting the old Gargoyle near their resting place and were so excited about everything they have seen but all at once went on to explain how their evening went "Have you seen Goliath?" asked the old gargoyle "We thought he would be back by now" "Aye but he's not I hope he has found a place to rest" "I will go look for him and be back I promise" then Angel took off before anyone could object to her but the old one smiled 'She is going to be a great ally for us and a true great friend just like the detective' then the old gargoyle along with the trio turned to stone. Angel was flying over head when she heard a shooting below her and went down lower to take a closer look only to find that it was the people who attacked the castle were now chasing Elisa she was worried her only true friend in danger so she swooped down and picked up Elisa "Angel?" "Hey where is Goliath?" Elisa gave her the directions on where he was and saw that he was stone as relife filled her and she took her there "You stay with him and I will lead them away from here and tell Goliath that I said 'Hi' for me" then she went off on her mission to protect Goliath and when she found the people she made sure that they would not want to mess with her or the Gargoyle clan again. The sun had set and Angel was back at the castle reading a book waiting for the Gargoyles to wake up and to see Goliath back safe and to hear if Elisa is alright so as the sun sank lower in the sky she out her book mark in her book then waited for now was the time for her new friends to wake up. Goliath stone body starts to crack as he awakens for the night after a long sleep during the day "Goliath are you alright?" "Of course" "That sensitive seems to have worn off" "Sleep rejuvenates us....You stayed with me through out the entire day" "Yeah well some had to make sure that those comic book rejects didn't find you" "Thank you it is very possible that you saved my life" "Oh yeah Angel came looking for you I guess your friends got worried when you didn't make it back she helped me out of a very tight spot and told me to tell you 'Hi'" Goliath smiled "Angel came to look for me for my clans peace of mind" "Yeah Angel is not a bad person she has just had a rough start in life" "Yes however I must get back to the castle" "So see you and Angel tonight" "Yes". Back at the castle as everyone was waking up Angel was ready to tell them that Goliath was fine but before she could talk "Don't worry lads we didn't servie a thousand years sleep just to loose him now" said the old gargoyle "Hope you're right.....Look!" the red gargoyle saw Goliath first and then everyone else looked and saw him with joy that he was fine but then the old one remembered that Angel was going to tell them is she found him but figured that it was best to just keep quite and as Goliath landed everyone was asking "We were worried about you, What happened?" asked the blueish greenish gargoyle "It appears we have enemies" but they were being watched by Angel's uncle Xanatos "We are ready for him now Owen". Goliath was talking to everyone "Giving everything that has happened last night I wish you had accompanied us Hudson" "Hudson?" asked the red gargoyle "Aye that's my name and what would you make of it" Hudson replied "It's a fine name" said the blueish greenish one "Hudson I-I-I like it" that's when the red gargoyle got an idea "We should chose names too names that suite our new lives here" "Oh and what might they be" the red one thought for a second then remembered the streets that Angel told them about "Brooklyn, I'm Brooklyn" the blueish greenish one said "Broadway" and the small green one "ooh Lexington do you like it" Goliath looked at Hudson and Angel then smiled "They are all fine names I guess he'll need one as well now" Goliath suggested towards the gargoyle dog and Brooklyn had the perfect name for him "Oh I've got one for him too, from now on you're Bronx" the gargoyle dog turned and walked away "I think he likes it" said Lexington then Owen showed up "Goliath Mr. Xanatos needs to see you for a moment" Goliath looked at Angel she shrugged but went to follow but Owen stopped her "He only wants Goliath" "I can go anywhere I want and I will be honest I am nosy" "Please Angel stay here" she looked at Goliath "I will be fine Angel" she nodded but something just didn't feel right and it was ever since they all went to explore the city "Hey what's wrong?" Brooklyn asked knowing that everyone was wondering what's eating at her "I just have a bad feeling and usually when I have a bad feeling it's not wrong I just hope for once it is". Goliath walked into Xanatos's office "You wish to see me Xanatos?" "Goliath there is someone here I want you to meet an old acquaintance I believe" then the doors open and slowly out walks a female gargoyle with hair the color of blood that bright "You you're alive" "Goliath my love" then they embrace each other "My angel ti really is you" "Oh Goliath all the days I have dreamed of and this moment" "I am happy for both of you" "This man has brought us together my love we owe our reunion to David Xanatos" "But, How? You were shattered by the vikings" "No I feared for your safety and left the castle to find you but I lost my way and the sun rose before I could return" "But how did you survive all these centuries" "When I returned to the castle the magus had already turned you to stone I begged him to cast his spell on me so that we might awaken together" then Angel's uncle cut in "I saw her a year ago and was so impressed that I inquired her to my privet collection then after I woke you upit seemed plausible that it might have the same effect on her" "With you alive I could start to live again as well" "As you said you and I are one now and forever". Angel was reading waiting for Goliath to come back then she heard cheers "Las!" so she put her book down but when she saw the female gargoyle Angel was not happy but the clan was happy and cheering as well as asking questions "I will answer your questions later it's just so good to see all of you again" she then stood up and Angel kept her eyes on the female gargoyle "My love I must ask a favor of you" "Anything" "Xanatos told me about the disks that were stolen from him" "Yes he want's our help in retrieving them" "Yes and I think we should in gratitude for reuniting us if nothing else" Angel was not liking this at all this has trouble written all over it "I agree and maybe by helping him we could rid ourselves of the humans that hunt us and with you by my side I can do anything" Angel was not happy but then notice that Goliath was looking at her the suggested for her to come closer "Angel come meet my angel of the night" but Angel didn't move but just stared at the female gargoyle "It's a pleasure to meet you....Wow you look just like your ancestor" Angel nodded but didn't get too close but then they all turned and walked away from her except for Brooklyn "Hey you can trust her she is part of our clan" "I don't trust her" then Angel walked off towards her uncles office with Brooklyn hot on her trails thinking 'What could Angel not trust about Goliath's second in command' but didn't give it anymore thought. Xanatos explained everything to them "I have explained the strengths and weakness of each fortress and have given you the best idea I think of an attack only your speed and strength can stand against their defenses" then Goliath spoke "We will take the air fortress, you three will breech the tower" "Cool" said Brooklyn "What?" "It's a new word we learned last night" replied Broadway "It indicates a possessive response" Lexington said he smiled "Hudson the underground base is yours but take Bronx with you" "I am perfectly capable of...." "Take him with you he needs the exercise" "Be careful all of you humans are more dangerous in these times" then he noticed that Angel needs to see how Gargoyles fight "Angel you come with.." "No" it was a simple word "You will need to.." "Look I..." "Angel this would be good for you" she turned to look at her uncle "Fine will come but let it be known I feel like this is a set up and I don't like for if it is I will get whoever is behind it" "You will come with me and..." "Her got it let's go so we can get back" Goliath was wondering what was wrong 'She was fine before my Angel of the night but now she has gone back to like she was when we first meet her' "Stay close behind us" she just nodded then one by one they all jumped off the castle heading towards their destinations "They better not be harmed" said Goliath "They are young and en-pernicious but they are also warriors trained by the best" "To soar with you again is like a dream" "We have dreamed for a thousand years Goliath it's time for our dreams to come true" then Angel, Goliath and the female gargoyle jumped off to fly towards their mission. Angel saw as Goliath and the female gargoyle were in very high spirits because of them not being able to see each other for a thousand years but Angel feels like this is wrong that they were not told the whole story and if her uncle had set them up she was not going to ever forgive him for this never however they arrived at the air fortress and as soon as they all entered Angel noticed that the red haired Gargoyle was being very reckless "We need to be careful" Goliath was saying "If the humans want to throw away your puny lives that's their concern" now Angel was certain that they were not told the whole story she went to grab Goliath's arm but then they were meet by a man with a gun that was supposed to protect the ship "Wait!" both Gargoyle's looked at Angel "We were told that you hired people to steal some disks from my uncle and I want to know is it true" the man looked so confused "I don't know what you are talking about" "Then it was a misunderstanding I am sorry" Angel turned "They stole it why would he say they if they didn't" "Look he said that they...." but the red haired female attacked but Angel saved the man then her and Goliath were running towards the main part of the ship.The trio arrived at the building in the center of the bay "This is so...so" Lexington said out of excitement "Cool" Brooklyn answered "Exactly" said Lexington so they got in and saw an elevator so Brooklyn opened the doors and "Xanatos said it was four floors down" the others nodded "Yeah but how are we going to get down there it's to narrow for us to glide down" then Brooklyn noticed that there was metal rope hanging there just for them "Hey how about we use this rope" so Brooklyn jumped on it and started to slide down as he counted "One, Two, Three, Four" then he jumped to the little ledge where the elevator doors meet "This is easy I bet well be home in time for supper" said Broadway but when Brooklyn got the doors opened they were meet with men with guns so Brooklyn nervously laughed "Sorry wrong floor" then they were shot at so they went down one more floor where Brooklyn walked up to a man in a white coat "Where's the disk?" and the man pointed towards this huge computer like machine so Lexington walked up to it and hit a button which in return gave them the disk but the men with guns showed up so Brooklyn braced himself up against the door telling the others "I think it's time to go" which made Broadway lift this very heavy machine looking thing and threw it at the huge window and off they took heading back home "We did it now lets go home"Hudson and Bronx arrived at the underground base "I still can't see how I let them talk me into this" and when he got to the huge doors he was wondering just how he was going to get in without being seen but then lights turned on and he was surrounded by men with guns "I don't know what thing you are but I beat that you are not bullet proof" "Aye that's a wager that you'd win" and so he and the guards walked in the laboratory and then Hudson and Bronx was ready to battle if it was necessary but they easily fought their way to where they were told that the disk was being held in and when he made it over to the machine where the disk was he looked all over it but didn't know where it was then slammed his fist down on it and out it came "Hahaha! Got ya, Come boy we are done here" then they went to leave but the head guard pushed the button to close the door that lead into the laboratory base but they were a bit quicker because they made it right before it closed on them but Hudson sat up looked at Bronx and said "I'm getting too old for this" then they heard moire guards and got up and took off running toward this ladder to climb it to get to safety. They made into this walk way that looked like it was made out of chicken wire but it was sturdy like a chin link fence however they stopped "What is so important about this disk" but they were then being shot at so they turned and ran down the walk way until they came to a part where a train would be passing under them so Hudson and Bronx tore open a part of the walk then watched as the train got closer then they jumped on top of the train and rode it all they way back to the streets then Hudson grabbed Bronx and opened his wings to lift them into the air so they could glide back home but Bronx was so heavy that when they landed on a roof top they rolled then Bronx went and started to lick Hudson in the face "Aye enough you great best away with ya now" then he looked at the disk "I hope this was worth the pain and aches I'll be feeling later" then he and Bronx made their way back home.Goliath, Red head female and Angel were now at the main door of the ship "Hey are we really doing this?" Goliath looked at Angel "Yes we said we would get what they stole from your Uncle Xanatos" Angel sighed "As long as you know what you are doing" then the red headed female gargoyle then kicked in the door that lead into the main part as they heard "We lost two thirds of the data" "Wrong you lost it all" said the red headed female gargoyle then Goliath went and grabbed one of the men holding him by the colur of his shirt as Angel "Sir I am sorry about this I will make it up to you I promise" Goliath was surprised to see how kind Angel really was even though she told him that she didn't trust people but it touched him though then Angel turned to look at the red headed female gargoyle "Mission accomplished" but the red headed female gargoyle had other plains "Wait" but it was too late she had already pulled out and electric cord and held it to the main machine to where it caught fire then ran to an exit door "What have you done?" asked Goliath "Come on we have to get out of here" "No we can't just leave them here" but the female was pulling his arm but Angel knew about the life preservers that were on board "Get the life preservers this thing will go into the ocean I am so sorry about all of this" then jumped out after them and they went back to the castle but Goliath got right next to Angel "Angel listen" "Look I understand that she is your.... whatever she is to you but she had no right to endanger their lives like that I thought Gargoyles protected people not hurt them" then she flew a head of them very very upset that he would let that happen. Goliath for some reason didn't like that she was very upset with him and that she questioned what Gargoyle's stood for it hurt him however he could understand why she was so upset because the one he loves was willing to let innocent people die but he was not going to let her question what he and his clan stood for so he decided that when he went to meet Elisa that he would get Angel to go with him and they could talk along the way. As they all landed in front of Angel's uncle she went to where Goliath usually sleeps during the day "Thank you all I will make sure that the data on these disks will be put to good use both for humans and Gargoyles alike" Xanatos said then walked away "I am going to meet a friend now....Angle will you join me?" Angel looked down but nodded because she liked seeing Elisa "A friend who not one of us?" "No human..Elisa Maza" "Besides from Xanatos we have no human friends nor should we humans are our enemies Goliath I thought you learned that a millennium ago" "I can not rage war upon an etire world besides doesn't Xanatos proof that there are good people as well as bad" "Can you forgive the humans for what they did to our kind?" "The humans responsible for that have been dead for a thousand years" "Then their descendants shall pay I will have blood for blood" "You said that the times have changed me they have changed you too you are not as I remember you are hard and cold me and Angel are going to see our friend now" "So be it" Goliath then walked away from her and meet Angel on the side of the building and then they jumped off to go see Elisa. Right after they left Xanatos and Owen were watching the whole thing from Xanatos's office "It seems that Goliath is too hard to control a pity" "Yes sir but what about Angel if you go through with this she will not be very happy with you" "You worry too much Owen Angel will always be on my side because I was there for her when her mother wasn't and she wants to have a safe and quiet life" then he walked away to head down stairs to where his steal clan was so he could put his plan into motion as Xanatos was talking to Owen "It seems that the gargoyles have out lived their usefulness I can no longer count on their loyalty and with the data on these disks I can bring their replacements online" "All we need to do is wait for sun rise and then we're all set" "No" then the red headed female Gargoyle walked in "You need to test these replacements do you not?" she put her hand on one of the metal clans chest and slightly turned her head towards Xanatos with an evil smile. Angle and Goliath were half way to Elisa "Angle can we talk later?" "Sure" that gave Goliath hope that she wasn't mad completely mad at him then they landed in front of Elisa "There you two are, I have been looking you guys everywhere" "Why" Goliath asked "Three cyberbiotics facilities calms that they were robbed by some sort of creatures and I saw you two plus another Gargoyle fly away from a plane wreak what is this all about Goliath and Angel" "The disks were stolen from Xanatos we returned them to him" "However I never really thought that they were stolen" Angel spoke up "You remember this" Goliath nodded but Angel was in shock when she saw it "It belongs to the manufacture are you ready.....Xanatos interprizes" "Are you saying is is responsible for the attack in the park?" Goliath asked "That's exactly what I am saying...He must have tricked you in to stealing the disks, He's been using you, He's been using you from the beginning" Goliath was not happy "Look Goliath I know we haven't known each other very long but" he looked away from Elisa so Angel fished her sentence "But you need to trust someone in this world and you are better off with me and Elisa than Xanatos" Angel smiled at him and he crushed the paper he was holding "You won't regret it" Elisa said then Angel and Goliath took off for the castle and now Angel felt bad because her uncle had lied to all of them even her "Goliath I am so sorry for my uncle I promise you that he will pay" "It's not your fault but we both will make him pay". Back at the castle Brooklyn, Broadway, Lexington and Hudson were relaxing all doing different things before they turn to stone. The trio were outside, Brooklyn with sunglasses "You know I think I am going to like this century", Lexington was typing on his laptop that Angel got him and Broadway eating Chinese food "We had trouble adjusting at first but I think everything will be fine now" then all of a sudden something shot at him and hit the food container he was eating "Wooah!" they all got up to look for what caused it then they heard "Attack" then metal looking Gargoyles flew up and made them all drop their stuff "What are those things?" Broadway asked but instead of an answer they were attacked and Broadway could leap off the building fast enough to gain momentum to glide so he fell, but he caught the side of the tower but the brick came out and he fell to the stone floor which knocked him out. "What did I tell you Owen, they are a fast improvement they are steal instead of stone they fly instead of glide and they are 100% obedient" as he was telling Owen when Goliath and Angel from a distance could see that something was going on at the castle and they were getting worried so they hurried to their friends. "I will help Brooklyn, You help the others" Goliath told her she nodded and went her station but she saw her uncle, Owen and the red headed female gargoyle and then she knew what was going on however she saw that Hudson needed help "I'm coming Hudson" however Goliath went over to Brooklyn and said "Give him to me" so Brooklyn dropped Lex into Goliath's arms then they both circled around "They steal clan ain't working out like I'd hoped" Xanatos said "We only have one robot left" replied the red headed female Gargoyle "Then it's up to us my dear" Xanatos said they turned around and went inside to get the weapons they needed. Angel helped the others as she saw Brooklyn and Goliath push a part of the falling tower on the last of the steel clan but then heard "You haven't won anything fools" she looked to see the red head with a bazooka but before Angel could get to her the bazooka went off "Goliath!! Brooklyn!!" Brooklyn fell close to her and the others so they all gathered to help Brooklyn but Angel was ready to attack "Hold it let's let them play out their little drama shall we" Angel gave her uncle a death stair hoping that she could see an opening to help Goliath. "We won dude" Brooklyn cheered "Dude?" Goliath tasted the word when they heard "You haven't won anything fools" they saw the red head with a bazooka as it went off they moved out of the way but they hit by the blast after it hit the tower "What are you doing?" Goliath asked the red headed gargoyle "Goliath you're a fool but then you always were weren't you if only you had taken the rest of the clan with you that night the plan was perfect" "plan" "It would have succeed" "What plan?" "I made a bargain with the captain to get us all out of the castle so the vikings could sack it" "What!" "It would have worked and after the humans were gone then we would have had the castle all to ourselves but you ruined it you had to protect the humans you made us stay at the castle when we should have been with you when the vikings attacked us the captain said that he would protect us but I didn't trust him I've stayed alive because I don't trust anyone" "But why did you do it?" "You can ask me that after how they treated us they had to pay all humanity has to pay foe what they did to our kind" "There is good and evil in all of us Gargoyle and humans alike you should know that more than anyone you see none of this would have happened if it weren't for you" "DON'T SAY THAT!..Goliath this is your last chance humanity is a poison that must be purged from this planet you trusted me once, you loved me once and we have found each other again after a thousand year solitude does that mean nothing to you" Goliath couldn't even look at her because what they had was going through his mind and it was braking his heart even more "Very well if you are not my ally then you are my enemy" Goliath watched as she aimed the bazooka right at him and fired he moved out of the way but the blast knocked him back as he laid on his back the red head female walked up to him and said "I have a name too Goliath the humans gave it to me long ago you should know it before you die I am Demona goodbye Goliath" Angel then came at her and caused her to miss and hit the top part of the castle tower. As the pieces were falling the stone hit Xanatos in the back of the head and they hit the part of the castle wall were Demona and Angel were standing and they fell but with out thinking Goliath glided down to catch her and landed back on the castle wall as he let Demona fall but when he looked back down Demona was gone he felt so hurt that he growled out in agony then went to where Xanatos was laying then picked him up "She wanted me to destroy humanity I think I will start with you" Goliath said "With out me you'd still be gathering moss" Xanatos replied "Goliath don't do this" Angel said "Give me one reason not to drop him" "If you do then you are the same as Demona" then Hudson walked up "She's right lad is that what you want?" Goliath sighed then threw Xanatos on the ground and Angel smiled then meet Goliath and Hudson on the highest tower where Goliath sleeps during the day as they stood there Goliath spoke "Do you think she survived?" "If she did we'll know soon enough" Hudson replied then went down to his spot to sleep which left Goliath and Angle there alone "It's great to see that I have a true friend in this new world" "And I hope that you have more lots more but rather you do or not I will always be your friend Goliath" they both smiled at each other "Same time tonight?" "I wouldn't miss it" "Great maybe we'll catch a giants game" Giants?" Goliath questioned but the sun rose and turned him to stone and Angel stood there looking out over the city "I wonder if this city is ready for you guys?" for once Angel felt like she belonged and couldn't wait for night to fall and be with her friends.
