Max

Is an immortal hunter trained since his birth to be on those who return to life and escape death knowing that many have done so not of their own accord he's sort of check and balances kind of person hired to do a job and bring those who have broken said rules back though sometimes it's hard considering they don't often run being reborn has ways of taking you for a serious wild ride and he's one along with a couple whose lives hang in said balance and don't get natural deaths since both are born vampires and neither one has committed any crime against any human at all despite being born into normal families who've taught them many things and getting along with those who are different and do care about how things have turned out considering he memories having a crush on Scout since day one knowing her heart belongs to Ares and his to her nothing can come to between not despite trying though many men have tried to win her heart only to be chased off by her protective father and siblings who know what most want though he already has the immortality he only needs a wife though most wouldn't consider it because the council that governs over the courts also governs over his kinds hunting grounds and knows that some of them have become off limits due to their status in certain histories of the courts and councils that often meet up to decide others fates in their own hands and having a great aunt on one of the highest council seats doesn't make it easy for him to go out and do his job because her people are always watching knowing he still cares a torch for Scout and serious dislike for Ares whose always one step a head of him in the department of winning her heart before he's even given a chance to court her on his own.  

Despite several orders that want them both as students and teachers in ways to that they can be shown how to beat such enemies in their own fields of supernatural battles it's not what they want living in peace and quite would be better though others have come up in recent months and changes are quickly getting done though others preferer things to back to the old ways and learning to master their skills in natural ways instead of mystical callings and getting around those who would be dead without such possible ways in healing magics and learned skills as it were to be that way.  

Though knowing both would in fact turn down said offers to be students and teachers in any type of schools because of their reborn and deaths factors their current status as living vampires whose heart's beat like a normal human beings heart does and when in battle things get heated and tensions are high though they are both known to keep cool heads during those harsh times and battle through those who want to control others instead of following a path craved out by the courts and councils.  Some other who refuse to live their lives by those rules and codes have become common outlaws that are often hunted down by others of same species though none of them been turned over to their current high courts of judgement due to the process being so long and the paper work taxing on people filling it out even in their own times that hasn't changed at all. 

Max leads a larger group of hunters under his control though many of their younger ones think they know better than Max  and try to make look like he doesn't know what he's doing though in the end they only end up back at the bottom of the ladder of success amongst the hunters and slayers each teach different kind of skills in surviving several attacks and maintaining those who know how it works in the field and other places as well each surrounds are different and climate is truly different depending on whose teaching them in the first place and knowing which way their destinies are going that is.  

The council of watchers and sentinels have their own code that each one follows and knowing how to accept certain defeating standards is the best way to make a prime warrior able to take out the best amongst them and knowing that it'll take time to show case those whoa are able to do so on the battle field that matters to those who make it in do turn that is. 

Some seers make awesome slayers and hunters able to detect where their enemy maybe standing and uses their own skills against them in closest way possible and moving onward to the next as though they could feel where they're going to be moved in one moment to the next and continue their way through a wave of people like that as it were to be that way.

Max's cousin Serena is like that she has study with said best of them knows how to move amongst those who pass for human and moving like nothing before hand including mist and smoke through their own ways she able to detect those behind them and like circles in a pool of water changing she's able to adapt to those same movements and she's able to beat her cousin in hand to hand combat because of her skilled training and he's learned ways of battles often come in handy though neither one of them would take arms against the other in any sort of battles between their own kinds that's just against the rules and laws set up by the council itself and others behind it as well as to be sure of working out in completely ways that is.
