Scout's tale

Ares

Vampire born and doomed to repeat his life like another one of his kind whose connection to him is simple but hard to resist in certain ways she does her best to avoid situations that involve him because it would just bring up old memories of times when they had a choice at life and death now they don't have that same choice ever again.  Scout knows Ares is living with his family in town  though they've not spoken things aren't  getting heated between them just yet for reason that he wants to give others their shot at trying to win her heart only to fail because it belongs to someone from her distant past and will always belong to that one person whose heart beats in seconds along side hers twice under a blue moon of destiny chosen ones that have no control over their lives as of yet or ever in comparable settings that is.  He can sense her from far since they made a bond pack ages ago and still holds strong to this day he rarely uses it when trouble is about to hit because neither one of them needs any of it but it has a strange way of following them where ever they go.  Meaning when the time comes it'll be time to move on toward another place where they can be safe for a short while though knowing it's going to change again because he's never far behind wanting her as his own and knowing the impossible ways it would be for them to remain together that's why they put them at odds over her since one knows the score as does the other one trapped in rivalry neither one can escape from despite trying that is.  Max has a good head on his shoulders he just chose the wrong girl and knows she'll never love him fully like she feels about Ares whose life is connected to her own through different events and places they've shared over the centuries. Neither one can forget that and time spent trying to undo what's been done to them over the same amount of centuries of being born and reliving their lives as though they had no real reason to be seen as other they what they truly are people whose lives hang in said balance without a chose of how to do things in the right and avoid those who seek those same kind of secrets only to turn up empty handy in their searches for one such place still exists though getting there would take several months and knowing its' well guarded as to those who can entire and leave in peace with what they are searching for selective few and Scout and Ares are amongst those few. Only two still living with full memory of it's true location and what vast information it has inside despite being heavily guarded by now with more information on several different levels that only those who know it's true location know how many new levels have been added to it's place and getting in and out isn't easy though most do try to get things inside and outside for their own benefit.  Scout knows that Max and Ares will draw out their feud as part of the game they often play with each other knowing that only one of them will have her as his own bride though getting past her father and siblings this time around will be harder than they think for they don't want her marrying a man that travels too much and one that does little change his or her own situation.  They know the history of these two men and what they want from Scout because she's like them and does know many things that they can't possible figure out on their own according to their last tests that show whose grown the most each one has grown in his or her own way and dealing with the situation in their own way by avoiding past traps and ideas of things that have yet to come their way in any sort of time scape.  They've had time to change and have their fair share of other lovers and loved ones though none of them can forget things that happen in the past and is currently on it's way toward them and demands repeating in order to set things straight though none of it gets set straight only mixed up more often than not at all.  Max and Serena's journey is one of true cousins who've stuck by each other in order to make through the harder times ahead of them and move on toward better lives though their blood bond is strong one that can't keep them in one place for long enough to settle them must continue to move onward in order to reach their true destiny whatever the hell it maybe this time around.  Ares and Scout's journey is that of truest loves search for away to end their immortality for good but only coming up empty handed in their own searches for those same answers that have no real questions nor do they have any true answers to them as well.  They'll run into a few old friends who remember them from long ago but won't bring it up because none of it was their fault it was those in power seeking those who were reborn and immortal with such gifts that they wanted to chain and keep as slaves since they don't real die only get reborn into mortal families and following their tracks to where most of them often settled down with their relatives in a place where things are strange already and fitting in isn't a problem for them since it was foretold they'd arrive soon or later two more would follow allowing them to move on with their own lives away from their own pasts lives.  They're following the calling of ancient times when they were more of them instead of selective few of them left alive and able to restore the history and past to what it once was of course though doing that would take several life times which each one of them has no real limit exceptions being the one they place on each other after it's all over that is.
