Y/N's POV.

I've never once in the five years my daughters been alive ever thought about ways to make her stop talking. Usually my favorite times are when her and I are doing just that. Talking about her life. What she doesn't like anymore. Her favorite Demi songs, her favorite Demi outfits. How she wishes she had another parent. But today, if I hear her say she doesn't have anything to wear to this concert one more time I will lose my fucking shit.

"Mommy? Can I just wear my jeans and that Paramore shirt? With my red vans? Do you think Demi will like it?!" Of course my Gracen Hadley has a Paramore shirt. She has a ton of band tees. Cool moms club right here.

"Yeah babe, I think she will love it. But you better get dressed. Demi said someone will be here at 4." I have to keep reminding her because the kid is worse than me. Late is our middle name.

"Okay awesome! Can I bring the picture I made her?! And the bracelet? You put it all in your bag right Mommy?" Also forgetfulness. Oh well.

"I sure did. I know you wanted to give it to her." Gracie Bell just smiles at me while slipping her shoes on.

45 minutes later we're walking into the arena escorted by a nice man with an accent that Gracen thinks "is so freakin cool" who we learned was Max. Gracen finally put two and two together and figured out he was Demis personal body guard. The whole way there she was asking if Demi was okay because he wasn't with her. Honestly it was precious. Finally we came to a big black door with "DEMI" on it. Before Max could tell Gracen to knock the door swung open. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not blind. Demi is probably the most attractive female on the planet. But I realize this is simply for my daughter. So we both dressed in some black skinny jeans. Mine with rips. I threw on an olive green pocket t with light make up and let my wavy hair fall down. I didn't go all out because hell this was for Gracen. But when she stood there smiling at my daughter I was pretty sure the world quit turning. She had on a tie dye hoodie with black leggings, and her hair was up in a bun with no make up on. And my god she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. And now my five year old daughter is in her arms with her head on her shoulder saying "thank you thank you thank you."

"Y/N?" Demi spoke finally. "It's so good to see you both! Thank you for letting me do this!" I just smiled and nodded my head at first. A little nervous honestly.

"Demi seriously, it's awesome of you to do this. There's no way I could repay you." Before anything else was said Gracen grabbed Demi's hand and went into her dressing room. I had to laugh when I seen it was covered in blue and black balloons and streamers. With a big black number 5 balloon and a banner that said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACEN HADLEY" I looked at Demi and mouthed a "wow, thank you." After showing Gracen and I around Demi made her way to set beside me on the couch.

"I hope you don't care I put her first and middle name. It's just so cute, and it comes down super easy so y'all can take it home after." She seemed a little nervous. I wonder why? "No no, I don't mind at all. She's having an amazing time. So am I." Is that flirting? What if she doesn't understand I'm flirting? What if she thinks I'm using my kid to get to her.

"So I seen the first video of Gracen dancing to my songs when she was littler. That was adorable! You've always played her my music?" Demi looked genuinely curious. "Well.. First off I'm sorry. Because I never played your music. We were actually at my parents one evening. She had been having a bad day whining around and your song came on the TV. She instantly stopped crying and went straight to the tv and set down beside it. After that your songs are the only thing that can calm her down. Well, that and some mommy back rubs." I said laughing a little. Demi gave me a killer smile. "Hey I'm sure your back rubs are amazing!" Her eyes went wide. Like she couldn't believe she'd just said that. And before I could respond Gracen came up and sat in Demi's lap. Demi looked at me as if asking if this was okay. I just gave her a wink. Wait, a wink?!
