Y/N's POV

I never thought this is what I would look forward to. Waking up to text messages from an amazing woman who I thought I'd never know. Seeing said amazing woman being amazing with my amazing daughter. I truly think I'm getting serious feelings for her. Demi and I have talked in depth about our lives. We've become best friends. She's met my family. I've met hers. We've spent so much time together. And in a little over a month she's going to start working more, which I'm a little nervous about honestly. We've talked about how we're getting to know each other. We've both confessed to each other that we do have feelings for each other and that is how I found myself cooking dinner for a "stay at home date" with Demi and Gracen. Just cutting up some vegetables I let my mind wander.

FLASHBACK

"GRACEN HADLEY! You have to brush your hair. Demis going to be here any minute with breakfast because you wanted her to come with you to your first day of school. Do you want her to see your little bed head?" My daughter is worse than me seriously.

"But Mommy..." her eyes perked up as soon as she heard the door bell. Followed by the lock unlocking. I had told Demi id probably be getting Gracen ready so she could just use the key.

"D! Mommy says I have bed head! Do you think I have bed head?" I hear her ask Demi as I walk into the living room. My breath hitches. There she stands in leggings and hoodie. Taking my breath away like she always does. I look at her and smile.

"Well Gracie Bell, I think we should brush it. Your Mommy knows best ya know?" She says smiling, picking Gracen up and taking the brush out of her hand to start brushing her hair. I walk over to the couch where my two favorite girls sit and lean into Demi.

"Morning" I groan out. But her laughter immediately makes me smile.

"Good morning my sunshine's!"

FLASHBACK

Dianna had called me earlier today and asked if we were free after Gracen got out of school. She wanted to invite us to dinner but she wasn't sure Demi would ask us so she did it herself. I had to laugh when as soon as Dianna hung up Demi was FaceTiming me.

"Hey beautiful!" She said smiling her megawatt smile.

"Hi you" I said shyly. Gosh the things this woman does to me. Im never really shy!

"I'm assuming by text message I got earlier my momma beat me to it. But, would you and Gracen like to come to family dinner tonight? I'd really like it if you could. But if not I understand. I know Gracies been having trouble with her coloring homework. Which I think is weird anyway. Coloring homework? And who even colors inside the lines anymore. She might want to be an artist. Like how can she tell her to stay inside..." her nervous ramble was something you loved but you figured you should put her out her misery.

"We'd love to. Do you want us to meet you there?" I asked smiling.

"No, no! I can pick you guys up. Maybe we could stay for the movie after since it's Friday?" Demi asked hopefully.

"I'm sure Gracen would love that Demi. I'm excited to see you and your family too." Her face softened.

"Awesome! So I'll pick you up around 4:30? I can hang out with the munchkin while you get ready and stuff!"

I smiled, knowing that she even cared about me enough to make things just a little easier on me was tugging at my heart strings.
