Y/Ns POV

As Demi walked out on stage I seen her glance back at Gracen and I. Sending her a supportive smile I wave. She closes her eyes and for a minute I swear she's at peace.

FLASHBACK - a month ago.
Demi and Gracen have been cooped up in the music room literally non stop. Gracen says it's because she has to practice but at this point I'm just happy they have their own special time.

FLASHBACK- two weeks ago.
I loved the view from the kitchen. Being able to cook dinner and watch Demi with our daughter was one of the best views. I hear a loud "yes!!" and look out to see Gracen running up to her momma and giving her a big hug. This is Heaven. It has to be. The woman I want to spend the rest of my life with, playing in the yard with our daughter. I can't wait for the future.

PRESENT.
Standing by the stage with Gracie Bell at my side we couldn't help but smile. This was the part of the concert where Demi always played her older songs. And it was also Gracens favorite part. Which is why I thought she'd be disappointed when she heard her momma.

"I know y'all are probably ready to here some classics, but i thought why not an unreleased never heard of song. what better way to find out if i've got a hit or not. what do y'all think?" Demi says as the crowd gets a little louder.

"Well if you don't mind i'm gonna do things a little different." Demi continued as a piano was pushed to the stage.

"First i want y'all to meet the two most amazing people in my life! My beautiful girlfriend Y/N and our perfect daughter Gracen!"

I look out and Demi is telling us to come on stage. Before I can try to refuse our daughter is already pulling me into the spotlight. As we go to Demi she wraps her arms around us. I immediately calm down to a reasonable level.

"So Gracen and I wrote a song! A song for the beautiful woman we love! And the best part y'all, gracens gonna help me play it!" Mindblown. I'm mind blown. As I set down on the stool Demi pulled out for me I softly says "Demi.."

My sweet sweet girlfriend gives me the most amazing smile before she begins again. "Babe i promise, it's okay, we love you." Before she walks away I kiss her cheek. Laughing as I hear Gracie Bell speak into the microphone.

"Yeah mommy! We love you! Now sit down and listen to our new song!"

Demi whispers to Gracie before softy kissing her cheek. The emotion already pouring out from the piano alone. I see Demi keep glancing my way. My eyes are glued. Those two doing what they love together is the most beautiful thing. It makes my heart feel so full.

Demi begins singing. "oh darling there's not much that you can say to stop me from falling in like i am"

"oh darling even waves can't wash away our names in the sand never could, never can"

"you are my everything i gave up everything show me the darkest parts of your heart, i ain't gonna run every dance is slow, every kiss is whoa they say you know when you know, well i know i know you're the one"

After the chorus the tears just start coming. Reaching up to wipe my eyes I can't help but smile because Gracen is fully invested in this performance. And my beautiful girlfriend is looking to me singing the most amazing song.

"some people bring you a million blessings some people teach you a million lessons all that i learned, it wasn't my turn it wasn't thе right time"

By this time I notice a tear fall down from Demi's face.

"some peoplе come in your life for a reason others they come in your life for a season but baby, you are a lifetime"

"oh darling there's no word that can describe the way that i feel, tonight oh darling i would walk that broken road time and time again if it led me to your hello"

I'm full on crying at this point and our sweet daughter is still going strong not even missing a note.

"you are my everything i gave up everything show me darkest parts of your heart, i ain't gonna run every dance is slow, every kiss is whoa they say you know when you know, well i know i know you're the one baby, you are a lifetime baby, you are a lifetime"

I don't even realize that the song is over until I feel Gracen and Demi wrap their arms around me. The crowd is nuts at this point. Gracen turns us to face the crowd so she can wave and I give a big smile. I hear gasps and Gracen and I turned around to find our girl. When my eyes met hers my heart started racing. There she was, the love of my life, down on one knee.

Smiling Demi looked at me before speaking. "i wrote that song for you Y/N. I once told you when you know you know. i've known all along. you once told me that a lifetime with me is what you wanted more than anything. and now i'm telling you i want you to be my wife. i want gracen to be my daughter. i want a lifetime with you both."

Tears. That's all I could even comprehend. Then I see Demi pull out a smaller similar ring and turned her attention to our daughter.

"i know i'm you're momma, and you're my gracie. but i want you to know that i love you with my whole heart. i might be marrying your mommy, but i'm committing to a forever with you too belle."

This moment between the two most important people in my life is something I could never forget.

"so, i've got two questions tonight. gracie bell, can i be your momma and love you forever?"

Gracen nods and runs into her Momma. And then I feel her staring at me.

"babe, i love you. will you marry me?"

I think I'm frozen. And just as I'm about to say yes Gracie Bell looks between us and says "say yes mommy! we love momma!!"

everyone in the entire arena erupts with laughter and cheer.

"of course i'll marry you demi." I pull her face closer to me and kiss her deeply. In that moment I knew everything was right. Our dreams, our wishes, they were all coming true. Picking up Gracen and taking my hand Demi leads us off the stage.
