Papyrus spat and cursed as Dust trudged into his room. By now he had just ignored whatever the ghost had to go on about. Dust slammed the door behind him and flopped onto his bed. Papyrus hissed, "you dare ignore me!? You dare feel sympathy for that hideous creature!?"

Dust growled in response, he didn't want to deal with that stupid ghost right now anyways. Papyrus smirked and began to cackle, "oh I see! You're so stupid! You really think you can feel sympathetic after what you did? How pathetic..." Dust clenched the covers around him, his magic was beginning to flare up. Twitching, Dust sat up and glared harshly at the ghost, "shut the fuck up." The ghost continued to snicker as Dust fumbled out of bed and stumbled angrily towards the door.

Dust threw open the door to reveal Killer leaning against the wall. Killer shrieked and fell over. After regaining his balance Killer began rambling, "oh sorry didn't see you there! You were just grumbling in your room so I thought I'd wait until you stopped acting weird. Anyways I need help with something and Horror's napping right now. Who knows where Cross is! Soooo you willing to help?" Dust frowned and pushed Killer out of the way. Killer stumbled back and stared at Dust curiously, "is something the matter? You seem more distracted then usual."

Dust didn't respond and kept walking. It wasn't until a glowing red knife appeared infront of him that he stopped. Cross stared, "where do you think you're going?" Dust sneered, "it dosen't matter I'm not harming anyone am I?" Cross frowned, "don't get an attitude. Where are you going?" Dust growled, "why the fuck do you care anyway!? I'm going to hell! Is that a good enough answer!?" Killer started snickering obviously finding Dust's sarcasm funny. Cross on the other hand wasn't very amused. Though before he could say anything Dust had disappeared. Cross groaned, "just what I needed! Now I have to go search the fucking multiverse for a damn moody murderer!" Killer laughed and propped his elbow on Cross's shoulder, luckily their height difference allowed it, "I'm sure it wont be that bad. If you ever end up missing his moodiness I'm sure this household can make up for it."

Cross glared up at Killer, "I have a better idea. Why don't you go looking for him?" Killer yelped as Cross moved causing him to loose his balance again, "me!? But I can't find him, plus he's never listened to me a day in his life!" Cross smiled back at Killer, "well that sounds like a problem you'll just have to deal with on your own." With that Cross opened the door to his bedroom and disappeared inside. Killer frowned, "damnit..."

Dream sat at the edge of a cliff with his face buried into his knees. He shouldn't have run but it seemed like the only reasonable thing to do at that moment. Something bad probably would've happened if he hadn't lost it and ran through the portal.

Dream lifted his head up and stared at the stars. He had run to Outertale. They twinkled all around him as if they were trying to tell him something. Dream laughed at the thought, it was stupid of course, stars couldn't communicate with anything.

"Beautiful aren't they?"

Dream looked over to someone else who was sitting near him. They laughed, "the stars I mean. You looked pretty confused." Dream sighed, at least they didn't recognize him, "oh...yeah I guess so." They stood up and chuckled to themself, "y'know it's funny I thought you were someone for a moment. Of course now that I think about it you don't look like them very much. Am I rambling again? I'm Outer I guess...the other guy called me that."

Dream stood up and smiled, "it's nice to meet you. I'm Dream." Outer stared at Dream for a moment, "y'know I think I've heard that name before." Dream shook his head, "maybe it's a common name! I'm sure many people are named Dream!" Outer shrugged, "guess so. Oh well, what are you out here for? I know you're not from around here."

Dream looked down, "oh I was just trying to clear my head. I've been stressed lately..." Outer smirked and shoved his hands into his hoodie pockets, "I know that feeling all too well."

Dream sighed, "I need to get going someone is going to give me trouble if I don't get back soon. It was nice chatting with you Outer." Outer smiled, "no problem."

Dream summoned a portal back to the Star Sanses base and jumped through. He was tired, it had been an extremely long day. Then again, when was he not ever tried these days? It seemed that everything drained all the life and energy out of him.

Dream appeared in the living room and instantly flopped on the couch. Lucky for him Ink wasn't home. Dream sighed and let himself sink into the cushion. His skull throbbed not to mention he was struggling to even keep his eyesockets open.

He wrapped his arms around himself and curled into a ball. A little while later he found enough peace to fall asleep. He hoped maybe this time he wouldn't wake up in a whirl of terror.
