"Hey, who's 'The Winter Soldier'?" My girlfriend of 3 1/2 months asks me
"Em, he's one of the hottest assassins in the MCU next to Natasha Romanoff. C'mon get with the program hon" I say
"MCU?"
"Oh my- Marvel Cinematic Universe"
"Still lost"
"Jesus, Em! I talk about it all the time, I thought you listened to me every time I talk."
"I do. I just stop as soon as I ask you how your day was"
"Uh rude. Well you're gonna listen okay? The Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU, it a universe where superheroes such as Natasha Romanoff or as most people know her as Black Widow, Tony Stark or known as Iron man or even Steve Rogers aka Captain America saving the world with new heroes and such"
"Bucky is Captain Rogers' best friends since they were born in 1918-"
"Aren't they supposed to be dead if they were born in the 1918s?"
"HONEY! let me finish! Ah okay where was I? Oh right Steve wanted to join the Army along with Bucky but Steve, was a 5 foot 4 inches asthmatic along with other health issues so he physically could not join the army. Bucky had gotten in, in the same unit Steve's dad was in before he died-"
"What was the unit?"

The unit was the 107th. Steve was taken into the Strategic Science Reserve when Bucky was shipped out and was given the Super Soldier serum which made him into the man he is today. Him and Bucky along with others were taking down Hydra on a fast moving train on top of a mountain when they blew the door open and Bucky was hanging on by the railing but that broke and he fell and died. Steve ended up defeating the Red Skull but had to put the aircraft he was driving underwater or thousands of people would've died. He came out the ice 70 years later and had to fight the Winter Soldier which is Bucky because whatever Zola experimented him on with helped Bucky survive the fall- what?"
"You never said Bucky was being experimented on"
"Oh my gosh. Bucky's unit was captured after Steve got the Serum and he saved them but found Bucky drugged and strapped on a table, then the train fight blah blah blah blah anyway Bucky survived the fall, half his arm was amputated from the fall so they cut more of his arm off and gave him a metal arm, brainwashed him, put him on ice and made him an assassin when needed."
"That's it?"
"No. There's a LOT more but I'm not going over them now"
"Can we watch the movies then?"
"YES!!! Please!"
