Jade's POV
We finally reached Sapphire Kingdom, after two weeks of traveling, but now we had to get disguises. Jade and Turquoise would be soldiers, and Shadow would be a prisoner.

They found a special flower that made jade's scales a dark purple, and another flower that made turquoise's scales dark green. While they were doing that, Shadow stole some armor and spears for Jade and Turquoise.

"Are you sure this will work?" Turquoise asked anxiously "this will be perfect" jade said. "My mother escaped this palace once, I can certainly get in" Jade said confidently

"Guys" Shadow whispered "there are some guards coming up, act like I'm a prisoner!" Jade noticed turquoise start to panic but then she calmed down when the guards passed them.

"See? I told you we could pull it off!" Jade said with a pleased expression on her face "but we have to do that again right now"

They were at the giant gates of Sapphire Palace, and four guards stood in the way. "State your business with the queen." One of them said. "We found this Swiftwing hiding, trying to steal some gold, and we have come to take her to the dungeon." Jade said with a deep voice.

One of the guards frowned, but the others looked like they were buying it. The guard who talked first-he was probably in charge- said "alright take her down to the dungeon. But tell Lady Sapphire first."

Once they were inside, Turquoise whispered excitedly "I can't believe that worked!" Jade grinned and said "I told you it would. But now we have to get to the dungeon."

"It's so dark down here" turquoise whispered. "I know, but we have to find Jet. Look around all of the cells." Jade said. "Wait, Jade I think I hear him!" Shadow said. And then she heard a familiar voice groan. "Jet! Keep doing that!" Jade shouted. They quickly found Jets cell, but he was chained to the wall. He also had something on his snout. "Jet? How do we get these chains off?" Jade asked anxiously.

Jet was pointing to something, but Jade didn't know it until Shadow said "the spears? Do those take the chains off?" Jet nodded frantically. So they took the chains off and Jet didn't say anything, he just pulled Jade into a relieved hug. "Guys, there will be time for hugs later, but right now, we have to get out of the palace." Turquoise said anxiously

When they were almost there, something, or rather someone blocked the way. It was Sapphire, with fourteen guards. They were surrounded.

"Well well well" Sapphire grinned evily "What do we have here?"
