Jade's POV
We had been hiding for a month, and mother said that it was finally time to move in to the Emerald Kingdom. So we found a place to live and gathered food.
"alright, you two" mother says "it's time that you guys got to school. I hear that Emerald Academy is an average school, so you will go there."
"and what if Sapphire finds us again?" Jade demands "then what will we do?" "...lets not focus on that right now" mother says quickly. "you two are going to school tomorrow. no buts, no cuts, no coconuts."
~the next day~
"I still don't think we need schooling." Jade grumbled "aww come on Jade, don't you think we need proper schooling?" Jet insisted. hrm. that was easy for him to say. Jet loved school, and he was perfect at everything. it was so annoying.
"plus Sapphire has spies everywhere." Jade insisted "even if she doesn't find us, one of her spies probably will" "aren't you optimistic" Jet replied with an amused look on his face. well, Jade wacked him in the snout for that.
The first thing Jade noticed when she entered the school was the adult dragon-she looked about 20 years old- walking up to her and her brother.
"hello. you must be the new students." she said in a bored voice. oh my moons I hate this dragon already, Jade thought. "You" the teacher said pointing at Jade "Turquoise will show you around." she pointed to a very pretty teal dragon, who waved nervously at Jade.
Oh brother. Jet definatly has a crush on this dragon. It was a bit obvious. Jet's cheeks where flushed red, and he was standing up straighter, trying to look more... impressive. But Turquoise was gorgeous, so she didn't blame him.
"and you" the teacher said pointing at Jet "Flint will show you around."
when Jet saw Flint, I could tell that he was nervous. Flint was big, and he had curves around his arms that showed he was a very successful hunter. When he winked at Jade, oh man she just wanted to bite him in the snout.
Turquoise looked a bit nervous around Flint too.
"well, you all should get to class." our teacher said
this was going to be a very interesting day.
