Chapter 3

I was sitting on the stool in my kitchen reading a book while eating some cereal. I got back from my run 10 minutes back, when I decided I needed something in my stomach. It was now 6:00am, and I was contemplating what to do until Naima came over to go shopping, which was at 11am. I decided to take a quick nap, and then go to the local market to grab some groceries to fill up my fridge, which was surprisingly empty. I didn't eat much, and I lived alone, excluding the fact that my mom drops in couple of times a month. She was either at work, or in a different country helping another client/celebrity decide what to wear at some stupid event.

''Ready? Lets gooooooo....'' Naima screamed. I nodded, as I grabbed my car keys and heading out the door. Naima came not long ago after I finished my shopping. Yes, you heard right, car keys, don't worry, its wasnt mine, I did have my license, just didnt have a car, it was a car my mom sent me. I didnt think I really needed to buy a car, saying I'll be moving in 2 weeks.

We arrived at the mall and Naima shrieked, obviously excited, she looked like she'd seen a mall for the first time of her existence.

''RELAAXXX NAIMA. WE HAVE PLENTY OF TIME!'' I assured Naima.

We headed to little burgundy and I picked out a pair of burgundy Steve Madden Oxfords, and the same shoe in Black&blue.

Naima got a pair of Jeffery Campbells, and then we headed to Zara. We were looking around when I spotted Zayn, I turned around hoping he wouldn't see me. Not that I didn't want to see him, I guess I got really shy when it came to guys I liked. I walked over the girls section and tried an indigo trench coat.

Zayns POV

I was at Zara looking at a grey sweater I spotted on the hangers when I saw Scarlett. My stomach did an unexpected flip, as I took in her beauty. She wasn't those girls that tried too hard, she just somehow looked stunning, naturally. I decided to take the chance, and walked over to her.

''Funny seeing you hear,'' I said, as I walked up to her.

She jumped at the sudden comment. She turned around and smiled. I felt myself blush, so I laughed it off, to hide it off.

''Well, this mall is 5 minutes away from where I live, and you sir, actually do not live in this country, so I would say, funny seeing you here'' She replied, with a wink.

I laughed at her response, and asked her what she was doing at the mall. She told me she was here with her friend shopping for the move. Confused, I asked her where she was moving.

As she was about to answer, her phone started to ring.

''Sorry, I have to take this,'' she said,

''No worries'' I reassured her with smile.

She walked forward away from me, and starting to talk. I couldn't really take in what she was saying, but a look of disappointment appeared on he face. She hung up and put her phone in her pocket, she walked towards me and smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes.

''Sorry, that was my friend, she wants us to go home. I'll talk to you before the move, just text me when you wanna meet!'' She said.

I smiled, and told her that it was alright, then we said our goodbyes, and went out separate ways.
