1. if straights want pride, they can have everything that comes with it. the fear of holding your partners hand in public, denial of healthcare, being forgotten, having higher su*cide rates, mental health issues, the stress of coming out, losing friends, being to its just a phase, being scared to kiss your partner, conver*ion therapy, being outed, the stress, getting stared at in public, being called slurs like f*g, d*ke, t**anny, ect., being considered a freak, people telling you that 'they can turn you straight', being called not normal, being outcasted at school or work, low self-esteem, dysphoria, being misgendered, being called your dead name, bullying, discrimination, the internalized homophobia, the homophobic people, others reactions, fear of violence, no representation, stigma, comments, religious leaders, being told your sinning, being told you're going to h*ll, thinking you're sick, having your rights be a topic in debates

damn, i can go on forever

2. in the states, the lgbtqai+ community gained thier rights to marry the person they love 5 years ago. frozen has been around longer than our right to marry. this is now going to be a supreme court with the handmaiden, amy coney barrett (DO NOT CALL HER ACB, THAT IS RESERVED FOR GOOD PEOPLE LIKE AOC AND RBG).
