Red Son gets lost at the mall

Red Son had never been to a 'mall' before. Judging by the amount of teens he saw when he entered, he suspected that this was an area where the most evilest villains go to plan their attacks. However, he began to think otherwise when he got lost within ten minutes of wondering around the many halls and corners.

Red looked around, confused as to where he was. Maybe this place was an elaborate maze that evil doers like himself go to sharpen their crafts in escaping. Retracing his steps, Red ended up back at the entrance of the mall. He was about to go to Hot Topic before a neon blue glowing sign caught his eye. The easily distracted boy walked up to the sign to read it.

"Mega Fun Arcade? Hmph, we'll see how mega this 'arcade' is." He mumbled to himself before walking off in the direction of the arcade.

Or what he thought was the arcade, because he got lost within five minutes of going straight.

"Why put a sign for it if it isn't even here!" Red Son yelled at no one in particular, looking around the empty halls of the mall. Wait a second, where is everyone? He thought as he stood in the middle of a large deserted hallway. One of the speakers turned on, a loud and long beep played before anything was spoken:

"Thank you for shopping at Epic Mall, we are closing in ten minutes. We once again thank you for your patronage." The speaker turned off with another beep as Red panicked. "TEN MINUTES??" He yelped, looking around for an exit, he didn't want to be stuck in this maze they called a mall!

Ok Red, Calm down. Just retrace your steps. He told himself, looking for where he came from. When he spotted a familiar store down one of the hallways he ran towards it, bumping into someone as he turned the corner. Both him and whoever he collided with fell to the ground.

"Watch it-!" Red Son looked up, his mouth hung open as he stared at MK, the person he bumped into. MK stared back, he then stood up and glared down at him. "I knew I sensed danger! What are you doing here, Red Son?" Red stood up, dusting himself off as he returned MK's glare unenthusiastically.

"I was just trying out this 'mall' place to see if it was what I thought it was, but unsurprisingly, it isn't." MK blinked in confusion, Red began to walk past him. "This little maze is tricky, but I can conquer anything and everything." MK was once again confused until he took in the words 'maze' and 'tricky'. "Oh, I see now. You're lost, aren't you?

Red Son stopped walking, turning to face him. "So you're not lost? This labyrinth's got about twenty or more halls, how does one even find a single store in this place?" MK chuckled at Red, holding out his hand to him. "I can help you out of if you want, I know this place like the back of my hand!"

Red Son stared at MK's hand, then his face, then back at his hand. He sighed, taking his hand relunctantly. "Tell anyone about this day and you're dead, noodle boy." MK smiled brightly at him, they began to walk hand in hand towards the entrance of the mall.

"You couldn't even kill me if you tried, but okay!"
