Chapter 9~New Jobs

I pushed newt out of the way and went straight to the home stead, I laid in my bed for a while but before I knew it I was asleep. I woke up and it was already dark, no one was talking and the doors to the maze were closed, I heard my belly gurgle so I went to the kitchen to go eat, I opened the fridge quietly I found some leftovers they must've had earlier, I ate it cold, it was still good though..

Newts pov!
I kept thinking about what Brooke said it kinda made me tear up but I couldn't cry in front of her i just couldn't and I think she might be starting her new jobs, finally... Anyways I better get ready to run out in the maze. Also we should be getting a new Greenie soon.

Brooke's pov
I saw Alby walking towards me so I just stood there until he got to me "so Brooke u will be starting as a builder today with Gally" he smiled and told me to follow him darn shank I hate Gally uhhhhh...
When I got to the builders area were Gally was standing I kinda got worried, this is gonna be a long day for me.
4 hours later
OMG my muscles hurt like hell I thought to myself I am totally not being a shucking builder aha I laughed to myself. I might as well head to the kitchen and eat, I saw Minho, Gally, Newt and Alby sitting with each other at one table so I grabbed my food and sat with them it was kinda Akward to be honest, between newt and... You know what I mean, they kept talking but I just sat there with my head down eating my food I saw Minho mouthing something to newt and then newt kept staring at me witch was more Akward so I got up and left...
2 days later
I finished trying out a medjack and a gardener but tomorrow I have to go out in the maze with Minho and Newt to try that out witch frightens me!!! Oh gosh, me and newt are still in a awkward position too but yeah ...
