Twenty Minutes Later

Wattson had been home for about ten minutes, and for those ten minutes of being home she was also being lectured for coming home fifteen minutes late.
"I'm sorry Dr. Caustic..!"
"You disobeyed me Ms. Paquette, you had broken my trust."
"It won't happen again, I swear Dr!"
He glared at her before letting out an annoyed sigh.
"Fine, now go into your room."
She nodded before walking into her room and shutting her door. She sat down on her bed before looking out her window and into the forest. She then opened up her window before resting her head on her crossed arms as she stared up at the sky. After about ten minutes she let out a yawn and lied down in her bed to sleep.

Octane had arrived at the Gauntlet but he didn't feel like doing any stunts for the first time. He just sat down on the course as he stared up at the moon. He continued to stare up as he thought of the girl he met. She was exactly like a nice summer day on the beach. He thought about her golden hair that shone like the sun. Her ocean blue eyes and how they sparkled when she laughed. How her skin was as soft and warm like the sand on the ground and it was the exact same color.
"What is her name?"
He asked himself with her face in his mind. He began to guess but nothing sounded right to him, guess he'd just have to find out next time he saw her. But in the meantime he would make up a nickname for her, she was special so he wanted something unique for her. He began to think of defying features on her but the first thing that he remembered was the bunny on her shirt.
"Hm..conejita!"
Bunny girl it was, he enjoyed that nickname, it fit her. For the rest of the night he spent his time thinking of her. There would be many sleepless nights ahead without her by his side. He will do everything he can to find her, and he won't stop until he does.

The next day

Octane was still at the Gauntlet, seeing if today was the day she would come back. He didn't want to leave in case she case back and he wasn't there to see her. It had been about an hour of him waiting, he was beginning to grow impatient. He let out a sigh as he rapidly tapped his foot on the ground, he was beginning to grow bored and now all he wanted to do now was play video games. He always enjoyed playing fast paced games, from racing games to first person shooters, as long as he got a thrill from it he didn't care. His stomach began growl from the lack of food lately. He hadn't eaten the day before nor had he eaten anything that morning. Another hour had passed and his hunger became unbearable so he decided to go back home and find something to eat.

Ten minutes later

Ten minutes had passed and he was starving. He opened the front door and walked into the kitchen before grabbing some cold leftover spaghetti and a beer from the fridge and walking back outside. Lifeline quickly followed behind.
"And where do yuh thing your going?"
She asked him with a raised brow as she held onto the back of his shirt to keep him from running off.
"Uh, back to the Gauntlet, where else?"
"Oh no! Your not meeting up with that girl again are you?"
She asked starting to get serious. He scratched the back of his neck.
"Maaaabyeee..?"
She began to drag him off.
"Your not going back to that garage heap! Besides, whoever she is she's probably too good for you anyway!"
He looked down at the floor sadly.
"Maybe your right.."
"What?"
"But I made a promise to her and I won't break it!"
He said as he pulled away from her and began to run back to the Gauntlet.
"Silva! Get yuh scrawny ass back here!"
She said before he ran into the forest and out of view. She let out a sigh before walking back inside.
"Stupid boy.."
