Rain Boy

This is a demo version of a story that I was beginning to write and I was wondering if anyone would like me to try and remake it! Sooo..here it is!

It was a rainy day in the city of Ethris, many people were out walking with umbrellas or driving in order to do their daily routines. It was around 7am when Ethan woke up to the sound of his alarm. He slowly opened he's eyes before they lingered over to the small beeping box. He rubbed his eyes and yawned before slowly reaching out to shut it off, after doing so he sat up and stretched. He stood up and headed over to his bathroom in order to get ready for the day. He quickly took a shower, brushed his teeth, did his hair, and put on his suit and tie. It was around 8:05 when he finished so he quickly grabbed his umbrella and headed outside to get a few goodies before work. He opened his umbrella before stepping outside and onto the the wet concrete. He began to make his way over to the local cafe only stopping when he noticed a little black kitten with white paws stand beside him. He smiled at it before crossing the crosswalk. When he arrived at the cafe he ordered a latte and some muffins and other pastries to eat. He stayed at the cafe for about five minutes before seeing his bus arrive. He walked out of the building and stepped into the bus as he waited for his stop. After the second stop he had finally stepped out in front of a very tall building that was covered in water droplets from the rain. He let out a sigh before taking a sip of his coffee and walking inside the giant building. He stopped in front of a young women who looked to be in her mid twenty's and who had long brown hair and a black dress.
"Hello Ethan! How are you today?"
"Wet, and cold.."
She let out a small giggle before adding onto their conversation.
"Well, I don't mean to add to your bad mood but, the boss would like to talk to you in his office."
He went somewhat pale as he felt a drip of sweat drip down the side of the face.
"About what?.."
"I'm not too sure but I know that it was Important."
He let out a sigh before beginning to walk over to the elevator.
"Thank you..Kylee.."
"Wait!.."
He stopped and turned towards her direction.
"Hm?.."
"You don't happen to have any of those sweets on you, do you?"
He gave her a slight smile before placing a chocolate muffin on her desk and speed walking over to the elevator.
"You enjoy that muffin! I have to go!"
He sped off into the elevator and pressed the button that read number twenty, the very top floor. He tapped his foot on the floor impatiently as sweat dripped down his face from being nervous. He stared up, watching the numbers on the screen going up and up every couple of seconds. When he finally arrived at the top he sat down on a large bench next to an even larger door that led to the boss's office. He waited impatiently knowing how terrifying his boss could be, especially when it comes to his business. He was just about to get ready to get up and get some water when the door opened and a woman ran out crying. He froze in fear until being snapped out of it by a deep voice.
"Ethan, get in here.."
He fixed his tie before nervously walking in and standing by the door in the office.
"You called for me sir?.."
"Yes..I wanted to talk to you about our, business..Do you know what the number one thing you need to have in order to be successful in my business?.."
"You need to have a perfect rou-"
"A perfect routine, yes. Now, you Ethan.."
His whole boy began to sweat as he hoped for the best.
"You have the perfect routine...so your being promoted. We'll move your desk up a few levels and we'll make you the employee of the month."
"Th-Thank you sir!.."
"Now, you can go back to your desk and pack up your stuff for tomorrow before your lunch break."
Ethan walked over to the door but before leaving he bowed to him respectfully. After he left the office he made sure that the door was closed before doing a victory dance. He had his eyes closed the whole time so he didn't notice the boss's assistant standing there with a cup of coffee staring at him with utter confusion and concern. After he saw her they both just began to stare at each other until he broke under pressure apologizing with a bright red face that expressed his extreme embarrassment.
"S-Sorry!.."
He said before running away from her and into the elevator where he pressed the button that read number seven.
