Ch.9

    "Good morning Mr. Pa-"
        It seems as though it's quite obvious I put zero effort into looking decent today. I usually get stared at when I arrive but not in this way. It's usually looks signaling "Wow Mr. Park looks amazing as usual!" But right now it's "Is he okay? Did something happen?" But I don't care, I don't really care about what they think- but I know tommorow I'll come in looking stunning as usual, and everyone will forget about this and we can all move on.

"Well you don't look too good today." Jongin walks into my office.
  "Shut up what are you doing here."
"Am I not allowed to check in on my lovely friend? We haven't been talking much these days." Jongin pouts.

   He's right. I've kind of distanced myself from everyone, I feel a little bad, Jongin is such a good friend. Now that I think about it it's a certain puppy's fault.

"I know, Jongin, I'm sorry." I apologize.
"I finish early today but I'm assuming you knew that already Mr. Vice President."
"I know, lucky you. Go finish up and have fun today."
"Okay- let's do something later! Bye bye!"

I sit back at my desk and sigh, I want a day off too...

I leave my friend's office and sigh, he's kind of stupid. It may sound harsh but it's the truth. He doesn't know what he wants and is hurting Baekhyun because of it. I'm not close to Baekhyun or anything like that, we've met once or twice while they were dating but he doesn't seem to remember. Hiring your ex and you hurt to work for you because you want to be close to them, then wanting to mess with them but also feel really bad and still care? He's not making any sense. I think he wanted to prove to himself that he could work with Baekhyun and mess around with him without getting his feelings hurt, but it's clearly not working. He should've at least given Baekhyun a reason and let him know how he felt- but no! He left Baekhyun with nothing. Anyone could see what's wrong with that. It doesn't seem like he knows how he would tell him now, or sees the need to tell him. But if I get the chance I will tell Baekhyun.

When I wrap up my work I get changed in the locker rooms and decide that I deserve a little bit of fun too. I visit a gay bar I used to frequent with Chanyeol, but ever since he got with Baekhyun and later on "decided he was straight" after they broke up, I started coming alone, now I visit way less frequently but when I do I always end up chatting and lifting my mood.

I enter and I'm hit with the familiar scent and atmosphere. I'm not the biggest fan of bars, but this one is just perfect for me, it's a place where I can relax and make friends.

"Jongin!! Alone again?" Asks Jimin, the bar tender and my good friend.
"Mhm. Chanyeol still doing the whole I'm straight thing."
"Aw well...you need anything?"
"Yeah I'll have a-"

I'm interrupted when the door swings open.

"Is that Baekhyun?"

      Surprisingly, I felt better fast. After eating a full meal and taking my medicine I get better, I guess it wasn't that bad of a fever- it's probably from the stress of being close to- that guy- now that I think about it. Well what I know for sure is that I want to have fun today, I need a day to just be happy. It's 4pm- I could visit a bar tonight, I used to love socializing and going with Sehun but we haven't had time to go out recently, and I'd always get an intense feeling of loneliness once I get home. But for some reason today, I don't care. I'm supposed to be resting, but I'm taking a couple days off even though I feel better. Being around Chanyeol is too stressful, and he can't object because I could expose his ass. I'll call him to let him know I feel better, but just won't show up for a couple days. I don't care if I get fired or in trouble! I don't care about him. I'm going to go out today. I quickly call Sehun and he picks up after a couple of rings.
