Harry's POV

I'd like to think I'm independent, but to be honest I'm really not in some cases. I can support myself, I can live on my own. I found a way to follow my dream when I was only 16, that I can do. I can live a normal life but, I need people around me. I need people telling me that what I'm doing is okay. I need someone to be there to tell me that the words I'm saying make sense, that the efforts I'm making are sufficient. I need someone to help me justify what I'm doing.

People claim to to have their "person". This is the person that will answer your call at 3am or give you that extra little push to do something you're afraid of. They will make sure you know that what you are doing is okay. Someone that will just remind you that everything will end up okay!

Julia is my person. And I'd really like to think I am hers.

Julia's POV

I lie in bed, watching Harry as he sleeps next to me. I love watching him in the mornings. He always looks so confused, it's actually very cute.

I push myself off the bed and down to the small kitchen in Harry's hotel suite. I decided to warm up some muffins for the two of us, while I started to make the coffee.

It's times like these where I like to just sit and, just for a moment try and appreciate and enjoy my uninterrupted time with Harry. Being with him and subconsciously knowing that we have to part our separate ways eventually, tears me apart from the inside out.

Harry is my person. There have been countless occasions where he has picked up the phone when I called early in the morning, crying because I missed him. He always manages to remind me that I'm okay and everything will be okay. He never fails to help me feel loved and accepted, no matter how much of a pain I feel like I am being. He spoils me and just, showers me in love and never stops showing me how much he cares for me. For awhile, I was in school to finish my doctorate so I could have easier access to professional jobs and just simply know more of my practice in athletic training and physical therapy. When I landed an internship with the Patriots and eventually a job, my schedule forced me to take a break from my degree and focus on work before I could finish. No one supported me more than Harry. Granted, we weren't together at the time. But still, even though he came after, he still supported my decision and continues to support me when I randomly decide to bring up the topic and consider maybe going back and finishing up my degree. No matter the time or situation, Harry knows what to say and how to handle it.

Harry is my person. And I'd really like to think I'm his.

I take the muffins and put them on some napkins. As I being pouring our coffee into some cups, two strong arms find their way around my waist.

"Mmh, hi baby," I smile as I turn and bury my head in his chest.

"Good morning, princess. How long have you been up?"

"Good morning, not too long. I made us some breakfast." The two of us walked to the couch with our coffee and muffins and sat, almost on top of each other.

"So, babe. Are you going to work if the team makes the Super Bowl?"

"I don't know. Mike is working this month and I'm working the next. That leaves February open for us to get back on schedule but February is the Super Bowl anyways. I have a feeling both of us would work together, but I just don't know yet."

"Oh, okay. Just let me know, I can start planning things out before I leave," I heard his breathe hitch after he mentioned leaving. "but we don't have to think about that now, do we?"

"No, but we should probably pack so we don't have to worry about it tomorrow"

"Before we pack, I want to go out and buy you new stuff to pack. How 'bout that?" Harry grinned.

"Why do you always want to buy me shit? Harry, I'm happy just being with you!" I laughed as he engulfed me in a hug.

"Fine, we won't go shopping maybe we'll just go out for a walk or something. But, I may or may not have already purchased part of your birthday gift." His little smirk told me everything I needed to know.

"Harry," I swatted his arm, "you know you don't need to ever get me anything. I've already told you. You're my present." He took my face in his and we both got lost in the kiss.

Sometimes, I think leaving you permanently would solve the pain I suffer when you leave me temporarily. But, leaving you would require me gathering the courage to walk away and I don't think my heart has the power to walk away from you. Does my head have the power to walk away, though?

Just a friendly reminder that the italic sections in the story are thoughts driven in Julia's head because of her worry and anxiety rooted in Harry leaving.

Thank you for being patient with my technical difficulties, hopefully it won't happen again.
