Hyunjin POV

I wait outside the library for Y/N when I hear sniffles, I duck my head into the library to see her crying.

My concern only grew as she refused to talk to me the rest of the day.

-

After school I immediately rushed to Y/N's house to be greeted by Felix. He saw my expression and asked immediately.

"Y/N?" He asked. I nodded, gulping.

"How did you know?" I had run the whole way here so I was gasping for breath.

"Uh she kinda is being super moody at the moment." He said, this conversation was obviously very awkward for him.

"Is she in her room?" I asked. Felix nodded and opened the door wider to let me enter, I immediately rushed past him to knock on Y/N's door.

Y/N POV

I hear a knock on the door and lift my head over the covers on my bed.

"Go away Felix, let me be depressed in solitude," I shouted. I rolled over to hear the door open anyway.

"Uh sorry to disappoint but it's not Felix," Hyunjin's voice softly called. I buried my head in the pillows, cursing myself for feeling suddenly giddy as I heard his voice.

"Why are you here?" I asked, silently telling myself that he has a girlfriend, it's not even worth it to be interested.

"I wanted to check and make sure you were okay," He said. I sighed.

"Why do you care, don't you have a girlfriend?" I asked, there was no hiding the tinge of jealousy in my voice.

"What?" There was genuine confusion in his voice, I paused.

"The girl you hugged in the library, you told her you loved her," I sat up, he sat down in front of me on my bed. I glared down at my printed duvet cover.

"Yeji?" He asked, lowering his head to try to get me to look at him.

"Is that her name?" I asked, clenching my fists.

"Yeah, she's my sister," He said, I looked up in surprise. He laughed a bit at my reaction.

"Oh, uh, I'm sorry," I stuttered, cursing myself for being nervous.

"It's ok, she was having a rough day," he chuckled a bit, "besides, I couldn't have a girlfriend right now."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I have someone I'm interested in," He said, like it meant nothing, like those words didn't crush my soul.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Yesterday must have been awkward for you," I held back tears.

"A little bit but in a good way," he said. Oh, he enjoyed my misery.

"So, uh, who are you interested in?" I asked shyly.

Hyunjin gently took hold of my chin and tipped my head up so I met his eyes.

"you,"

I flushed red and ducked my head down. I heard a giggle from him and looked up to see his face a similar shade of pink.

Suddenly I heard a crunch from my left. I turned to see Felix leaning against the door frame with a bag of popcorn in his hands.

"LEE FELIX YOU LITTLE SHIT" I yelled and ran after him.

-

About fifteen minutes later I was standing with Hyunjin in front of his car.

"So, what now," I asked.

"Well I think I know what," He said, I tilted my head a bit.

"Y/N L/N," He began, using his arms in big sweeping motions. "would you consider," He knelt down on one knee, "making me so very happy, and being my girlfriend," he finished.

"Why, how could I refuse?" I asked, mimicking his motions.

We both giggled and he got up, pulling me into a hug.

"Thank you," He whispered into my ear, pulling back and planting a small peck on the tip of my nose.

"See you tomorrow princess," He said, I blushed.

"Princess?" I questioned.

"That's going to be my nickname for you," he explained.

"In that case, see you tomorrow Jinnie," Now it was his turn to flush red.

"YEEEEAAHHHH BOIIIIIIIIIII," we heard Felix shout from the doorway, I turned and glared at him.

"Well I should go," Hyunjin continued, I nodded, giving him a small peck on the nose in return.

"Bye Jinnie!" I said.

A/N

I don't know whether to cringe at what I just wrote or to melt into a puddle. A lot happened in this chapter!

Question

What's one really screwed up thing that you've heard lately?

My history teacher is a delulu, apparently therapists are a scam to make money. Anxiety and depression aren't real. And Neo Nazis don't exist (neither do other Nazis, they're just part of a narrative needed for our political agenda). Also some other homophobic shit. BUT, iTs oK bEcAuSe hEs JeWiSh AnD BiSeXuAl. LIKE WHAT???? NO... EVEN IF YOU ARE THOSE THINGS THAT DOESN'T MAKE THIS SHIT OK.

Thanks!
