| Chapter 18 |

Y/N POV

Over the next few days, the agreement that Hyunjin and I had made to not tell anyone else we were a couple was difficult to say the least. The girls definitely noticed something different between us and I was barely able to avoid their interrogations.

Finally, Hyunjin and I agreed to tell everyone about us.

I made my way over to the lunch table to greet the girls.

"Hey guys! I have a favor to ask you," Their heads turned with smiles once they heard my voice.

"Sure, what is it?" Lisa spoke up, tilting her head slightly, making her short hair almost cover her face.

"Uh, can you guys come with me to sit at Hyunjin's table?" I mentally cursed myself for saying Hyunjin instead of Felix until I remembered they'd know soon anyways.

The girls gave me a strange look before nodding, clearly the name slip-up did not go unnoticed.

On our way to the table, I called to Felix who turned and waved, he knew about our plan and tapped Hyunjin on the shoulder. Hyunjin turned around, shot me a quick smile, and quickly scooted over to make room for me.

I giggled a bit at the awkwardness of Lisa being squished between the guys, but she seemed to get along with Jeongin quite well, their energetic personalities helping them to make friends. Rosé was thrilled to see Chris and Felix, as they were fellow Australians, apparently I'm chopped liver. Jisoo was seeming to try to talk to Minho, making little progress but progress none the less. Jennie was inhaling her food almost too fast to talk to anyone, but I saw her nodding along to whatever Jisung was talking about.

Finally I tapped Hyunjin on the shoulder, signaling to him that we should probably tell them soon, before lunch ended. He nodded, understanding my silent communication, and signaled to Chris to help him get everyone's attention.

Once everyone was attentive, Chris passed it to Hyunjin and me to start talking. After a few seconds of figuring out who would say it, I spoke up.

"Um, hey so uh, Hyunjin-" I flushed red and instinctively curled into Hyunjin, wrapping my arms around him in a side hug, and tucking my knees to my chin. I heard Hyunjin giggle a bit at me.

"Shut up Jinnie," I mumbled before burying my face in his shirt, the familiar scent of his laundry detergent calming my embarrassment a bit.

I proceeded to smirk to myself as I heard him stumble over his words before Felix interrupted him and Hyunjin ducked his head down to hide his blush.

"Oh for the love of cheesecake, let me help." Felix let out a dramatic sigh, "So basically these two are dating, cool? Cool. Now," He proceeded to take a dramatic bite out of his lunch before realizing it was super spicy and nearly dying.

Everyone ignored Felix's trauma and looked and Hyunjin and me in shock. Chris was the first to speak up.

"I KNEW IT," He shrieked excitedly, Hyunjin and I shot our heads up to look at him.

"I mean it was pretty obvious if you ask me," Jennie said, looking up from her food. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Wait so did everyone know?" I asked uncertainly. Minho looked up, taking out his headphones.

"What?" He asked, clearly confused.

"Hyunjin and I are dating," I explained, he nodded.

"I know," He said, returning his attention to his music.

"Well I hope that answers your question," Felix said, "now can someone help me I'm dying," Everyone seemed occupied so I did something that would make my brother love me forever.

"Well Changbin looks like you gotta help," I said. He looked up at me.

"What about Hyunjin, he's sitting next to him too! And I'm in the middle of a round," he exclaimed, holding up his phone to reveal an Among Us round in progress.

I back-hugged Hyunjin and placed my chin on his shoulder.

"I'm afraid Hyunjin is occupied," I say, planting a peck on Hyunjin's cheek, Hyunjin's ears flushed red and Changbin turned off his phone, getting up to go get some water for Felix.
