"To say you'on ever talk to nobody, yo shit always expensive" Benji told me as he hung up his phone, just finished paying my phone bill
"Well between YOU, momma and the wedding planner I'm not surprised. Y'all three call me the most" I told him while I finished filling out this paperwork for this house we were interested in
"You know what" I put the pen down and looked up at him "being an adult is not as fun as I thought it would be"

"Bills. That's all there is"
"Bills that you ain even really paying. All you buy is groceries so go sitcho spoiled ass down somewhere" Benji told me as he grabbed his cup off of the table and started to drink from it
"I would help pay bills but you won't let me. You need to let me help"

"Cause I want to. And what if we get this house?" I held up the papers "the payments gonna be more than this lil 1300 a month you already paying"
"So? We ain doing shit we can't afford"
"Maaaaa" Hendrix screamed while laughing as he ran into the kitchen, going straight to Benji instead of me "daddy" he climbed up on Benji

Hendrix stood up on Benji's lap still smiling and laughing as Meechie walked into the kitchen laughing as well
"Stop!" Hendrix yelled at Meechie with a smile

I looked at Hendrix while he sat on the table in front of Benji, tryina take Benji's cup from him
"Here nigga, damn" Benji put the cup to Hendrix's lips, letting him drink some "can't have shit around yo ass"
