"I just ate some mixed vegetables from the Chinese place down the road and I swear I feel like I gotta throw up. That shit just made my stomach turn" I told Benji as I sat in the break room, on FaceTime with him
"I thought you been said you ain like eating that Chinese food from over there. What made you eat it?"
"I wanted Chinese"
"What time you get back on the clock?"
"12:30.. you?"
"Shit.. 12"
I minimized the camera to look at the time while he put a blunt to his lips, looking around outside
"It's past 12 baby"
"And?"
"Oh my-.. Benji.."
"What?"
"Nothing" I responded as bri texted me back from earlier "hold on" I told him as I added bri to our call. When she connected and put her face in the camera Benji bawled up his face
"Dont nobody wanna see yo ugly ass"
Bri sucked her teeth "fuck you benji.. HENDRIX!"
"Hendrix my momma call you" I could hear jr say and I guess he ran over to the camera because I heard him laughing before crawling up on bri's lap. When she put him in the camera I smiled
"Hey poppa"
"Ma, who that?" Jr asked while he put his face in the camera which made Hendrix mad
"NOOOO" Hendrix screamed while he pushed jr's head
"You better cut that shit out boy" Benji told Hendrix "you ain supposed to cry.. just beat jr ass"
Me and bri both looked in the camera while Hendrix laughed
"No he not" jr told Benji and Benji nodded
"Yes he will. All them times you called me a bitch, oh yeah, my son gone fuck you up bout his daddy"
"Unt unnn" I laughed as destiny, my coworker walked into the break room and put her food in the microwave
"Ma!" Hendrix called my name before rambling on in the camera.
"You need to get away from jr bad ass ain it? I know" Benji said making Bri suck her teeth
"You got one more time to talk about my baby. He ain that bad"
"Ma look" I could hear jr say before something fell and shattered causing bri to jump up, fussing at him
"I already told yo fucking bad ass to stop jumping on shit!" She fussed as Hendrix picked up her phone that she left on the chair with him
"Daddy" Hendrix smiled in the camera showing his little teeth before hanging up the phone making both of us laugh
"Oh, I meant to tell you. You gotta pick up Hendrix today. We gotta meeting after work"
"How long yo meeting gone be? Cause last time y'all had one you win got home till late and me and Hendrix was hungry"
I rolled my eyes
"It's not gonna be long. Ion think"
"Yeah yeah" he replied before sighing "Lemme get back to this lame ass job"
"Yeah you do that cause you already late. I'll see you later, I love you"
"I love you too"
I hung up the phone while destiny took her food out of the microwave and came over to the table
