these are just my ideas of how you would meet the characters! feel free to drop some suggestions or request in the comments :).
peter pevensie:
you two met at a cafe. it was that time of winter when people would start to slither into their coats and mufflers, hats and scarves, perhaps even into their significant other's arms to protect themselves from mother nature's raging case of dandruff. but for you, sipping on some hot chocolate and dancing away to christmas music was enough for you to survive the season. you were sitting at a two-person table by the window, gazing outside and admiring the snowflakes elegantly floating down onto the snow-covered sidewalks and dissolving in the blink of an eye until your sight-seeing was disrupted by the front door bell's jingling, indicating that someone had entered the cafe.
a tall boy with dirty blonde hair walked into the warm shop, ordering a black coffee just like any other person would, but except for one thing: his enchanting ocean blue eyes wouldn't leave your face. he sat two tables away from you, his eyes glued onto you as he kept gazing at you with astonishment as if you would disappear into thin air if he ever looked away. you could feel his gaze on your face as your cheeks heated up in a light pink, but you shrugged it off. after awhile, the mystery blonde gained the guts to walk up to you and introduce himself with a cheesy pickup line.
"what's a pretty girl like you doing in a cafe shop like this?" he'd start, the corners of his mouth creeping into an attractive smirk.
quite taken aback at the sudden interaction, you looked up from the window and stared at him with your mouth agape. "oh- well- i'm just-"
your stammering was interrupted by peter's amused chuckle and you forced an awkward yet flustered smile before averting your eyes away with embarrassment. "i'm sorry, i didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." he apologized wholeheartedly. "my name's peter pevensie." you looked at the hand that was extended out in front of you, and took it with a light shake.
"y/n. y/n y/l/n."
edmund pevensie:
you and edmund met at a dinner party. your family had recently moved into the neighborhood, and edmund's mother invited them over at their place for dinner one night. it seemed that everyone got along with each other, both parents were hysterically laughing and gossiping, and your siblings immediately clicked with the pevensies. but you weren't exactly intrigued by the invitation, your parents had to drag you to the dinner party and bribe you with the food that they would be serving. social events didn't exactly appeal to you that much unless it contained food, you'd rather be locked up in your secured and cozy room rather than socialize.
dressed up in a beige sweater and a pretty tight black high-waisted skirt, you entered into the pevensies' house and didn't see edmund until the dinner actually started. you were mostly on your phone, as your siblings interacted with lucy, susan and peter. edmund didn't want to be apart of the party, so he stayed upstairs in his room until dinner was served.
when dinner was finally served onto everyone's plates, everyone sat around the dining table. "eddie! dinner's ready, come downstairs." mrs. pevensie hollered. no response came from upstairs, and the woman was forced to repeat herself again. "edmund! get down here, there are guests waiting! " "sheesh, i'm coming!" the boy yelled back with an annoyed tone.
after a few moments, the boy finally jogged downstairs with his eyes glued onto his phone. he looked up and he immediately looked at you first out of all the others. his choice of clothing was a baggy navy blue sweater paired with white sweatpants, whereas everyone else was wearing attire that was less informal. "edmund, i told you to wear something nice." mrs. pevensie sternly murmured to the boy as he sat down next to his siblings. he rolled his eyes and everyone started to eat.
the food was surprisingly delicious, but something was distracting you. the ebony haired boy kept giving short glances towards your direction, and you didn't feel more awkward than ever. you'd feel his eyes burn into your skin every now and then, and your cheeks flushed into a light pink at the sudden attention from the boy. you had to admit, he was pretty cute. when dinner was over, everyone returned back to chatting, but you decided to get out of the house for a walk around the block. so whilst you were strolling down the block, you were enjoying the quiet until you heard something behind you. tensing up, you held your keys between your knuckles and kept walking, afraid of turning around. your walking sped up and so did the footsteps behind you.
"hey," the voice spoke from behind. thinking its a random person trying to catch your attention, you ignored the voice and kept walking, hoping to find a route back to the pevensies house. "hey-" the voice repeated more loudly. you felt a hand on your shoulder causing you to yelp and whip around, staring at the person in anger.
"what?" you yelled, but you stopped and stared at the person in front of you- it was edmund!
"-sheesh, quiet down. you'll wake up the whole neighborhood." the boy's eyes widened at the yell. "i was just trying to catch your attention." he murmured as he slid his hands into his pockets. you sighed and shoved your house keys into your pockets. "well, you've caught it now. and possibly my heartbeat, i almost had a heart attack because of you." you grunted, crossing your arms against your chest. "what do you want?" edmund grinned at your response and met his chocolate brown hues with yours. "i saw you leave the house alone and wanted to follow you just in case. it isn't really safe for a teenage girl to be walking alone in the streets at 11:40pm." you rose a brow and smirked at his explanation. "aw, you care for me already?" you cooed cheekily with tease glinting in your e/c eyes. he blinked and stared at you with a flustered look, shifting from one foot to another. "well, my mother raised me to help people. so yes, i do. i mean- i care for everyone, actually. not only you." he stammered, avoiding eye contact with you. you giggled and crossed your arms once again, amused by the boy's flustered state. "well, thank you for 'caring' for me... edmund? i'm guessing your name is edmund, i don't think your mother would have been calling for anyone else but you." he glanced back at you and did that thing when boys would glance at you and look away while wetting their lips, nodding. "what about you?" he asked. "i'm y/n. it's a pleasure to meet you, pevensie." you extended your hand to him, and he took it.
susan pevensie:
you two met at the town library. both of you had a strong love for books, so it would make sense for you two to bump into each other. you entered the library, looking forward to returning your stack of books in exchange for new ones. you were really into [insert genre] books, so you always headed right for the [insert genre] isle first. but to your surprise, a lone girl somewhere your age was in the isle as well with her face buried into a book. her pale skin with freckles dancing on her cheeks and beautiful brunette hair falling down to her shoulders made you literally stop your tracks, how could a girl be as pretty as her? your mind quickly flicked back to books, so you walked over to the row of books you were interested in.
as you were minding your business and flipping through some pages of a book, you heard grunting a few feet away from where you stood. you looked up from your book and glanced at where the grunting came from and you saw susan- she appeared to be having trouble on reaching a book a few rows above her due to her lack of long legs. luckily, you were high enough to reach, so you walked over and smiled at her.
"do you need help with something?" you asked, putting a smile on your face. susan glanced at you with a startled look, but sighed. "i'm afraid that i can't reach the book i'm looking for. stupid short legs.." she said, mumbling the last part to herself. you chuckled and went on your tippy-toes, able to retrieve the book susan was in need of. "here," you handed the book over to her and grabbed your own books. she smiled gratefully at you and thanked you, clutching the book to her chest. "i'm y/n, by the way."
"i'm susan pevensie."
