Chapter Seven: Remembernce Of The Past+

A hour journey to get to the cave of Solomon, Igris and Lore made it. The cave itself was filled with vegetation, you wouldn't even notice it if you were looking for it,

" Is this it? ", Asked Igris

" Yes, Inside the cave is a water hole. The water hole is said to be so deep it reached the center of the world. The water itself has Natural energy properties. It's said to ease the mind from when it's clouded. Unblock anything that has corrupted you. The villages used it to cleanse people who fell into darkness "

" It sounds like something that comes in handy, have it ever failed ? ", He asked

" Yes, that is why we take precaution, failing to cleanse the mind can rapidly change the person. it happen with the leader of the Merloks, Saul. He was once one of us until he asked to go to the cave, after his father was killed by a town's local when they where just settling here. He couldn't over come it, it turned him wicked. Influencing the people around to follow him"

" If he was on of you, how did he turn to a twisted mutated human? "

" Well the leader of the group kidnapped the Elder and used a forbidden technique to absorb ones Ore. Essentialy taking one's life energy, but what he didn't know was that the power of the Elder isn't compatible with anyone but it's own blood. After that he started a conflict, essentially killing most of our warriors. Just recently out Elders power has weaken so the spell that kept them in that cave also weakend. They attacked the villages one by one, that's why people have gone missing in your town. There's no villages to stop the creature under the Merloks control from crossing the town doing what they want "

" Why did Sauls father get killed by the town's people? I would think your people would help you get vengeance for it "

" Well I'm the wrong person to ask that but from what I heard is that he had something to do with a killing from their side. It's better to ask those questions to the Elder when you can. But for now you need to focus on this task ".

Igris nodded as he approached the entrence. He enters as he could see the water hole. The water was clear and blue. A complete opposite of it surrounding,

" When you enter, you enter with a clear mind. Clouded thoughts will do more harm then good. You close your eyes and let the water do the rest. It's best not to explain much more, it won't do much good "

He stopped suddenly as he was taking off his shirt
" You're starting to sound like someone who doesn't know what they are talking about ", Asked Igris.

" Well to be frank your right, i don't know much. I'm just actually the only one who would help, since the rest of the locals arent doing so well ".

" This isn't going to go well",
He took his foot where off and walked into the water

" I will be here when you return ".

Igris took a deep breath and closed his eyes, letting his mind go blank. His body slowly began to float downward,

He could feel the cold water around him. It slowly began to fade as he couldn't feel it anymore. It began to seem like water wasent there. Everything was dark and blank. No senses, no thoughts, but then he heard a voice in the distance,

Igris opened his eyes, he was floating in what seems like water, but was shallow, he could easily stand up. He looked afar where he can see a group siting around a campfire.
" How can we just let them take him? I rather fight for him.. "

" Hello? Can you hear me? ? ", He asked as he walked forward,

" We will make him a true warrior, one who feels nothing and hears nothing but orders. It would be marvelous ", the figured said
