Chapter Eight: Ones True Self+

The warm breeze from the ocean felt great. It reminded Vic of that night in the ship with Igris. Him looking at the endless ocean as it calmed him. The thought of Igris's death filled his mind, knowing it was possible. Was it right to give him a test at this time? Was he that stupid. Before he could think more Quilon called him,
" Vic! I sense multiple contacts heading your way from the east. It's those creatures again but it's way more. I say about dozen or so "

" How long do we got till they make contact? ", Asked Vic

" I'll say give five minutes max. They are going faster then I thought. You need to head to the village as fast as you can. You can't fight them while protecting her "

" Autumn, hurry up and hop on my back! We have incoming ", he said as he squated down.

" What!? Are you sure I should? You did say last tim-"

" There's no time just do it! "

She hurried and jumped on his back as he bolted.
He made his way through the path, not stopping for a second. He could now sense them getting closer, it was more he could count. 

" From up here it's alot of them I say about thirty, and they all have the sinister Ore. Where the hell are they coming from? "

" That's something I was going to ask you, but what you said about ", he asked

" I'll try my best ", She soured down as she unleashed wind attacks upon them.

Her wind slices would carve up the creatures as they keep pursuing the two. Hits after hits as the ground shook from her power. The two make it to the village as he quickly dropped off Autumn at the closest shelter. He bolted to the entrence as he waited for them. Hearing and feeling the impacts of the attacks of Quilon as they get closer. She comes into view as she quickly soars down next to him,
" I was able to get rid of fifth teen if them. Which only leaves nineteen of them. they seem to be unpredictable so You need to deal with them as fast as possible".

" What do you suggest? ", Asked Vic.

" I'll give you support from the air, don't let them get to close -", Gorgon said as he stopped and looked behind him

" What is it? ", He asked

" I felt something but it quicky vanished ", she said turns her head to behind

" I trust your instincts, if you felt something it wasent on accident. Stay In the air and give support if you can but keep a eye on Autumn I don't want her getting hurt "

" From a good person point of view or .. is there more to it? ", She said as she gave him that look

" Just go already ",

" Keep your guard up. Don't go easy go all out understood? ", She said

Vic nodded as she took off towards the skies. The creatures appeared slowly from the smoke as Vic unsheathed his sword and took his stance.
" Something happened to you that wasent suppose to happen in the first place. I'll end your suffering here and now. And kill whoever done this to you lot ", Vic said towards them

They growled at him as they began to charge,
" Seems like your listening. No worries I'll tell you face to face soon ", Vic said as he released his Ore, as his brace was shining bright.
" Jekamichi Pack of the underworld"

A family of Flaming wolves appeared as they all circled around him. The pack attacked as a group, each attacking a creature burning them to ash with one bite. Some charged towards him as he smoothly and accurately evaded every attack while countering with a slice. As they battle on two creatures sneaked out of view, trying to find its way towards Autumn. He kept battling until he noticed one was unattended for. From afar Adult smiles as he realizes Vic hadn't noticed.
