🌹Roxanne🌹

"Hey, Roxy! Stay awake!" My eyes immediately snap open at Lexi's voice. "We're almost there." I rub the sleepiness from my eyes as she keeps hers on the road. After turning my switch on all those years ago Lexi and I become close.

So close that when she was ready to leave Mystic Falls I asked if I could go with her. I of course love Stefan and didn't want to leave him but I was confident he would be okay. And he was. Lexi was thrilled to have me along on some adventures.

And we've been together ever since. Besides all the moving around was good for me. "So, why'd you leave your boyfriend behind?"

"Because this is about Stefan. Nothing else. Besides I know you're little snide remarks about us are just to cover up the fact that you are lonely."

"Ooh, stake to the heart Lex," I say playfully and she shakes her head. "Joke all you want, missy. You need to get laid. Because you are driving me nuts."

"Oh, you love me!"

"Yes I do. So, please for both our sakes try to have fun. But you know not too much fun."

"Yeah yeah." I reach blindly into the back until my hand brushes against the cooler. I flip the lid up and grab a bag. "You're eating now?"

"So what?"

"I told you we're almost there." I sigh and drop the blood bag, closing the lid. "So bossy." She smiles brightly and turns onto the road that will lead us to the Salvatore Boarding House. Lexi holds a finger to her lips after we get out, closing the doors as quietly as possible.

We open the front door and quietly slip inside. "Damon?" I hear Stefan call and Lexi, using her vamp speed, tackles him to the floor. He looks up at her as she snarls into his face. "Lexi!"

"Hi." I laugh in amusement as she pulls him to his feet. "What are you guys doing here?" He asks wrapping his arms around her in a hug and then doing the same with me. "How could you even ask that?"

"I missed you."

"Happy Birthday," we say at the same time and he smiles happily.

We head up to his room and I explore the shelves, desk, while he and Lexi catch up. By the time we're done reminiscing it's morning. "Stop. I don't know? If some freak shot at us with wooden bullets, we'd bail in under 60. And why is a news reporter hunting vampires?"

"I don't know who knows about us. That guy did. There could be others. Hey, do me a favor? While you're both here, please be careful."

"Ugh! Why stay?" She gets off the bed and gives Stefan a look. "We're headed to New York for the weekend. Bon Jovi, in The Garden. "Wanted Dead or Alive." It's our theme song. It'll be a blast."

"Hey, do you think he would actually remember us? That was a pretty crazy weekend?" He asks as he moves to the edge of the bed, pulling his shoes on. "We can make him remember us. Come on. Let's go. I mean, what's keeping you here?"

"I told you. Her name is Elena," he says and I smile in amusement, dropping down onto the edge of the bed.

"Well, let's hope she's better than the last girl you got all sprung over," she says grabbing the picture of her from 1864. Stefan shakes his head and swipes the picture from her. "You didn't even know Katherine."

"Cause if I did I'd kick her ass, the little bitch."

"Oh, don't even get me started," I hiss as the memories of Katherine compelling me come to mind. "Speaking of, where's Damon?" She asks giving me a pointed look which I chose to ignore.
