The way to Texas is paved with secrets

Courtney's POV:

Once we called it a night I was taken to my room and my jaw dropped. It was a huge bedroom with a king sized bed, crystal chandelier, beautiful wallpaper, amazing decorations, and a beautiful white robe that came with my room.

"Pretty isn't it," Says Bridgette behind me. "We all of us decided that you've been working so hard and cause this is the only break that you've taken since sophomore year we thought we might as well make this a great vacation for you. We thought you deserved this room."

I looked at her confused."What do you mean deserved this room? What's the difference between this room and the rest?"

She pointed to Geoff's' room. It was kind of nice but nowhere near as beautiful or comfortable as mine.

"Why am I the one getting spoiled," I said upset.

"I thought you'd like it," Bridgette said confused as I was a little upset.

"I live in an apartment with someone else. I like it when I'm in small spaces when I sleep," I groan. I look to one of the closets in was small and narrow. I go into my stealth mode and hide in the tiny closet. I feel breathing on my neck.

"You hiding too," I hear Duncan say.

"Yeah. Why do they want to spoil us with these big rooms. Don't they know?"

Truth to be told me and Duncan have always loved tiny spaces like our apartment. We hated being spoiled (and by that I mean by people spoiling us). We especially hated big and expensive junk. For that last one it must sound like a shocker but yeah. It's true. We've just gotten so used to each other that we've worn off onto each other.

"SCOTT!"

"What was that," I ask Duncan.

"I don't know. I'm in the same place you are."

We peak open the door and see Dawn and Scott.

"Come on moon beam. sharing a room again won't be that bad."

"DID IT GO SO WELL THE FIRST TIME!!!"

"I'm not gonna answer that question."

"Smart choice Scott. Smart choice," Dawn growls as she stomps away.

I hear snickers and then look over to see Duncan laughing to the point of tears.

"Duncan! Don't blow our cover."

"Too late," I hear as I look back forward to see Bridgette.

"Why are they fighting about sharing?"

"Cody and Noah were originally sharing but they changed their mind. Dawn said she wouldn't mind but she didn't know that Scott was the other person agreeing."

"That is hilarious!"

"Oh hahaha very funny when you're not the one in that position," I hear Dawn yell from behind Bridgette.

Alejandro's POV:

I was still out by the fire with Heather. Oh she was always so happy at night.

"And that one is a Taurus. I know because when I think of it, it kind of looks like a stick bug," Heather said. Astronomy was a hobby that Heather took up after college.  People always saw the bad side of her but she didn't really have a bad side. Just a misunderstood one. They always saw her as being mean and rude but the only people who knew why she was like that were us. By us I mean everyone on this trip.

"What's that one right there," I say pretending not to know what it was.

"That one's the little dipper. Easiest one ever."
