Courtney's POV:
I was sitting in my apartment with Duncan as we are fanning each other on hot summer day when my phone went off. I haven't heard from Geoff in years.
"Yeah me either." Duncan said.
"Did I say that out loud? Sorry."
We looked over at my phone
Geoff joined Courtney to the group chat
Geoff: Guys I just rented a super cool RV! I was thinking maybe we could go on a cross country ROAD TRIP!
Lindsay: Me and Taylor would love too.
Tyler: Babe it's Tyler and yeah it sounds like fun.
Gwen: I'm down
Trent: Same
Noah: Why not. Mind if I invite Cody?
Geoff: Of cores not dude. The more the merrier. Anyone else interested?
Scott: Sure.
Dawn: I don't know. Where are we even going.
Scott: aww moonbeams too chicken
Dawn: Am not! I'll go
Jo: Bring it on
Brick: I 'll go
Bridgette: Cool. I'll bring my board.
Dj: Sorry Geoff. Sounds fun but bunny got sick and me and Lily have things to do over the weekend
(Lily is my oc. She is Dj's girlfriend)
Geoff: I get that. Send bunny my best of luck. But other than that Court? Duncan? What about you guys?
Courtney: Give us five seconds to talk about it.
I turn to Duncan.
"Well?"
"Let's go babe it'll be fun."
"2 things. 1st off don't call me babe. We're just roommates. 2nd off you're right for once. It could be fun. It is summer and all I've done so far is prepare for interviews for law firms. So let's do it."
Courtney: We're in
Geoff: AWESOME! I forgot where is everyone right now living
Everyone: New York
Geoff: Well that was coincidental. I live there too. So how about Tomorrow at 5:30 we get started.
Courtney: Sounds like a plan.
I turn off my phone and smile at Duncan.
"Yay! We're going on a road trip!"
"Well. Didn't he say we leave at 5:30? He lives an hour away from us so we would have to start driving at least around 4:15 to make it on time depending on traffic."
"You're right! Finally you decide to use your brain."
We rush to our room to start packing.
'Finally something good comes out of being 22' I thought to myself.
