"FBI!", Morgan yells. He waits for a second before lining his leg up to the door and kicking it down. I flinch at the noise, but I get over it quickly because I am being ushered into the apartment.
Hotch and Rossi rush into the bedroom while Prentiss and Morgan search the kitchen and bathroom. I stand by the door with JJ, our guns drawn but not in any immediate danger.
"Eleanor Wright, you are under arrest for the murders of six people in the last year", Hotch says as Rossi leads her out of the apartment.
Eleanor glares at me as she passes, the heat sending a shiver down my spine. As soon as they leave the building, I feel antsy. It's not an uneasy feeling, but I can't seem to stand still and my skin feels like it is buzzing.
It almost feels like I'm dreaming.
"Spence, are you okay?", JJ asks.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just feel a little funny, that's all."
She nods sympathetically but doesn't stick around to talk to me anymore. I go into the bedroom and start going through her closet and drawers, looking for any traces of the poison she used. Just as I get a box down from the top shelf in her closet, I hear my phone right with the sounds of Beethoven.
"Dr. Reid?"
"Rossi and I are going to take Wright back to the station for questioning. If you don't find anything obvious, come back. We can have the local officers take care of that."
"Yes, sir. I'll tell the others", I say before hanging up.
I leave the bedroom again and try to find Morgan and Emily, but it seems like they already left. Just as I am about to leave, something catches my eye. In a vase on the kitchen table is a bright yellow flower, but it seemed to have died of thirst.
