"Why can't you join us", I asked Kit angrily.
"Its too far and I don't have any documents", he said.
"I'll arrange everything."
"No, we'll go back there later."
*Few days earlier*
Daddy was having dinner with us after almost a week of being away.
"Princess.", he said seriously.
"Yes daddy?"
"We are leaving for Monaco next week."
"Can Kit come with us?", I asked the most important question. I didn't care about why were going so far or what work we had there, I only wanted Kit to come with us.
"If he wants to, then yes but its not safe", Daddy warned me.
"I don't want to go either", I said pushing away my plate and leaving.
"Princess.", Daddy followed me to my room, "Listen to me."
"hmm"
"Its not safe means, its a family issue. It will not be appropriate to take Kit. His parents will also not allow. We'll be back soon, don't worry."
"Which family? The one that doesn't care for us?"
"Ione!", daddy said sharply.
"Grandmother doesn't like me anyways.", I said looking away trying not cry.
"Grandmother is just a distant person.", he explained, "Please, lets just visit her once."
"Okay", I said after a thought.
I tried to convince Kit to come with us but he denied strongly.
*Present*
"We don't know when that later will come", I said.
"I promise to take you there with me", he said patting my head.
"Keep your promise."
"When are you leaving?"
"Tonight we have a flight to Moscow. There is a layover at Moscow and we'll take the next flight to Monaco."
"Wow"
"You have never been on a flight before?"
"Nope."
"I promise to take you on the flight with me."
"Yes!",
I collected last minute things and started packing them in my bag. Kit was sitting on the bed and watching me run around.
"Why are you going there?", he askes after a while.
"My grandmother lives there. Daddy said there are some family issues."
