Goodbye, my love

as you might've guessed this is going to be the last chapter of my Annie x Male reader story. I haven't decided on the new book either. I'm sorry about this being the last chapter of my story, it's just that I've run out of ideas and I really want to start out fresh again. I enjoyed making this story. Since it's my first, it's very special to me and I'm going to leave it on my page. Thank you all for supporting this book. I hope you enjoy the last chapter. I will still be having specials, though.

I could hear the door to my bedroom open and close, talking, and then the front door opening and slamming shut. My eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the dark room quickly. I swung my legs over to the edge of the bed and set my feet on the cold, wooden floor. The old floorboards creaked as I stood and walked downstairs.

I had fallen asleep with my scout clothing on. I heard a flash of lighting. My first thought was to wake Annie up. I ran over to her door, sliding and almost falling flat on my face. The door swung open, and I peered around inside. The blanket I had bought Annie lay neatly folded on the end of the bed, but no sign of Annie.

The strong wind broke the windows upstairs, and glass shards flew into my arms as I shielded my face. Quickly I buckled my ODM on and ran out the door. Annie's titan stomped through the streets, destroying houses and taking the lives of many people.

" Annie, what are you doing?!" I shouted, ducking as debris flew through the air. She ignored me and headed in the direction for Eren's house. I grappled to her lower neck, pushing my foot off of her tough muscle and landing on her shoulder. " Annie, what the fuck?!" I stared at her. She still ignored me.

I beat my fists on the side of her head. " Stop, listen to me!" I cried. The titan stopped dead in its tracks. " What are you doing?!" Her right arm directed to her shoulder. Picking me up by my shirt. Her blue eyes met mine. " Let me go, Annie!" I squirmed around. I gave up, letting myself hang limp. Annie set me down on a roof nearby and continued her way to Eren's house. I grabbed one of my swords, struggling to keep my arm from shaking.

I held it back and flicked my wrist while detaching the blade. It shot for an area nearby her nape. Annie hardened, the blade bouncing right off of the material. Danice grappled over. " What the hell is Annie doing?" She muttered, a shocked expression on her face.

" I don't know, she won't talk to me! Help me get her out of her titan, Danice!" I slammed my fists on the roof. She nodded. " You go for the nape, I'll distract." I could see Danice smirk right before she attached to Annie's shoulder and swung around. This was my chance!

I ran to an angle, attaching to her farthest shoulder. I used a gas boost, getting my blades ready. She hardened just as I was about to swing. Hanji and Levi landed by me, Hanji having thunder spears in replacement of blades.

" Y/N, what is Annie doing right now?" Levi asked. I shook my head. He sighed. " Hanji, try and get close to fire the thunder spears. " Levi ran his fingers through his hair. " Y/N, just stay here. If things get bad, I'll shoot a flare, meaning you need to shift." I nodded.

TIMESKIP

There was only one thunder spear left. Annie had captured Eren and was now just trying to escape. Why would you betray us again, Annie? There was a huge lump in my throat that just wouldn't go away. My eyes stung from the smoke that filled the air. Had Levi forgot about the flare? I closed my eyes. There was a loud boom, and I opened my eyes again. Annie had been hit by the thunder spear.

I ran over to Annie's titan. Everyone was out of gas. Mikasa was nearing Annie. Danice had an angry look on her face. " Annie!" I yelled, stumbling as I ran. Danice turned around, holding me back.

" You can't go near her, Y/N! No telling what she'll do." A tear rolled down my cheek. " Annie wouldn't hurt me!" I grabbed Danice's arm, twisting it. She growled, letting go. A loud noise came from the body and a bright blue light. I've seen this before... her crystalization. I ran even faster, reaching the titan. I was too late. In a blue casing, Annie lay there, frozen.

Danice laughed. " Fuck, get her out of there!" I banged on the crystal, wishing that it would shatter into a million pieces, and Annie would be free once again. Mikasa released Eren, hugging him close. Levi and Hanji stood by the titan body, watching me. " Aren't you going to help me?" I sobbed. I swung at the crystal with my blade. Everyone circled the body. They just stood there.

I dug in my pocket, taking the small knife out. I raised my hand. I cut my hand. My titan reached for the crystal, picking it up. I threw it at the wall.

The crystal didn't break. I punched and stepped on it. It didn't budge. I pulled myself out of the huge titan. Danice gripped her arm, laughing in a close alley. I walked over to her. I dragged her by her collar out of sight. " No, stop, STOP-" Danice screamed, but was silenced

. Her body was brought out of the alley. Bloodstained her white shirt. Deep scratches on my arm regenerated. The blood on my face steamed.

" Look who's laughing now, " I growled. I set the body by a few trash bags. Everyone stared at me, surprise in their eyes. " Where's the crystal going?" I glared at Hanji.

TIMESKIP

I twiddled my fingers, leaning against the brick wall. " I'm growing insane every second without you here, Annie." I stared at the crystal. I hadn't been updated with the scouts for a while now. I would rejoin when Annie would come out of the crystal.

I was hoping that she would. Maybe, just maybe, she wouldn't... I closed my eyes, scooting down onto the wall until I was sitting. I had just started to drift off when a loud crack came from in front of me. I stood, staring at what lay in front of me.

The crystal was shattered.

Water was everywhere on the floor.

But most importantly,

Annie lay there, sprawled on the ground.

alright, y'all I'm making a sequel to Annie x male reader. I hate when I'm just left hanging. I'm literally supposed to be sleeping rn it's 11 at night and I have school in the morning. r.i.p. also by the end of this chapter I think that I'm going to make an MHA book, toga x reader, or maybe another aot book, Mikasa x reader. anyway, I'm going to try and make my sequel even better.
