I walked through a forest my head held low, thinking about why I couldn't be normal. My blond purple, blue hair fell in my face as I walked. "Always hide, never show your powers," I repeated what my mother always said to me. Tomorrow was the first day of school and I had to do something about who I was. Maybe I could hide my hair in a hat or get colored contacts to make my changing eye color normal. It was always tough to hide when I looked like a freak, but that's not my fault. It's being a sorceress' fault. My mother always said that my powers were always more powerful then anyone else's she has ever met, and I'm not looking forward to finding out what on Earth that's supposed to mean. I hated myself and what I could possibly do, no one could control the few sorceresses before me in my family and I was honestly scared. I just hope that I don't find out during school that would be terrible. I heard my mom call out to me to come back home since we have a forest in our backyard. I have no idea why we have it back there. Tomorrow is my doom that's for sure.

Ok so what did you guys think? If I have any readers let me know if I should keep going, I know it's slow but trust me it will get MUCH better, there is even a little romance waiting in there. Also this is by far the shortest chapter they will be longer
