(This chapter might be a little longer than usual, hope you enjoy 😘. Oh and please forgive the strong language in this chapter and the last.)
You sighed and scribbled on paper until you heard a knock on the door an hour later. "Come in." You sat up. Yuu opened the door and peered at you. "You're being called to the Hiragi side of the building. So I'm assuming you did something." You looked at him. "Damn right I did. And I don't regret it one bit."
He sat down in front of you. "What did you do?" You smirked. "I gave Seishiro a piece of my mind but before I could finish, Mito and Sayuri held me back. So yeah I'm in pretty big trouble." "Wow that's hilarious! I'm tired of that piece of crap and his attitude." He laughed.
"You should have seen his face, the asshole drained from his face for a good minute. It was hilarious." You stood up. "Well I guess i should get going then, before the boss fries me. Oh and could ask Guren if he could pretty please pick up Amito today."
"Yeah I'll let him know, that idiot still won't let me go out on bigger missions." You laughed at him. "Well you better train hard then, and get on his good side and NOT CAUSE TROUBLE." He rolled his eyes and left. Oh god now You have to go talk to Kureto. You better not make him wait...
You took a deep breath and released it, then before you knocked on it you heard voices coming from behind the door. It sounded like a woman and a man arguing. Then Kureto's deep, booming voice telling them to shut up. Now you were just confused on what the hell was going on. You knocked on the door hesitantly.
You heard Kureto say "Come in." So you slowly opened the door and walked in, looking at the ground before closing the door and looking towards Kureto. You saw Kureto sitting at his desk, looking obviously annoyed, Seishiro by his desk, and Risa with her arm wrapped around his while looking down at you with a smug and bitchy smirk.
You tried so hard not to roll your eyes. Anyways, you looked at Kureto. "You requested my presence General?" And of course the first person to open their mouth was none other than Seishiro. "Oh no (y/n), there's no need to be so formal. It just doesn't seem like you, at least not after all of the vulgarities you spewed at me earlier today." He waved his hand at you, dismissing the thought of you speaking politely.
You bit down on the inside of your cheek and glared at him. "Don't worry Seishiro, I reserve my formal tone for people who deserve it." You cleared your throat. "Well I don't think you should be talking to your higher ups like that (y/n)!" Risa said. You looked Kureto directly in the eye, trying to avoid snapping off at Risa. "Well Risa, Im surprised you decided to babble about respect, since you're the farthest thing from respectful, what you are is just- you know I didn't come here for this, I'm leaving."
You turned toward the door and started to open it before Kureto finally spoke again. "(y/n) close that door NOW." You closed your eyes tightly and closed it. Darn, I messed up big time. You turned back around, feeling goosebumps on the back of your neck. And sheesh is it getting colder in here?? "Don't leave until I dismiss you, don't let it happen again." He said, giving a hard stare.
😗😗oopsies. "Yes General." This time you refused to look toward Risa and Seishiro. You could just tell that they were enjoying you getting grilled by Kureto right in front of their eyes. And you weren't making it any better either at least for yourself, because it just satisfied them more. "Now I want silence and I want it to stay silent." Kureto said sternly.
And all three of you stayed quiet. "(y/n), Seishiro told me what happened earlier today, and it didn't seem very appropriate of you. We dont have the time to be causing conflicts with our comrades. In these times everyone has to make due with whoever and RESPECT each other, no matter how much you hate each other." He looked at all of us with a death stare.
"Now you've already had one altercation with Risa. We can't make this a habit of having problems with everyone and duking it out. Not here. Not in my building. Understood?" He slammed his hand against his desk. "Yes General." You said nervously. "Everyone understood? Good. Now everyone can leave, except (y/n). You stay here."
Your eyes widen. Ooooooh noooo now you're scared. They both walked past you with a smile of satisfaction. Then Risa turned to look at you "Bye (y/n), good luck." She giggled then closed the door behind her mumbling something to Seishiro as they walked away. You kept looking at the door, not wanting to look at Kureto's hard, angry face.
"(y/n), when I'm addressing you, you look at me." You turned to look at him, looking at his chin. "Sorry General." He sighed and sat back. "So what's you're side of the story?" He raised his brow. "Does my side really matter? I'm still going to get a punishment regardless, besides, you look tired and I don't want to make you more angry than you already look."
He laughed loudly for a few seconds then wiped at his eye. "I know my brother, I'm assuming he started it. You're still getting a punishment for causing a ruckus but I want to know what he said. You don't really seem like the type to snap that easily." "Well I walked into one of the break rooms and I saw he was there, so I turned to leave but he just had to say something. He said that he was surprised to see me back since I was dressed like a whore when I left for the mission." You continued to stare at his chin.
He sighed again and rubbed his temples. "Of course he said something that ridiculous." You bit your lip and twirled your fingers behind your back. "So what's my punishment?" "Honestly I don't know but you'll know in a few days for sure." You nodded your head in response. "You're excused, have a good day." He waved at the door.
"Thank you you too General." And you left. Now time to finish up work then go home and get ready to spy on some creepy and possibly deadly vampires!
