That Hurted

You stood there and watched Guren and Risa made out, as you dropped your purse they stopped and looked over at you. You grabbed your purse and slammed the door shut and ran back to the party.

You walked over to the balcony and held your elbows staring down at your heels. You can't believe that happened...but why...? If everything was going so well with him. You weren't really in a relationship but you basically were so maybe it isn't that bad because you guys weren't official?

But you thought that he didn't like her? You thought. That was the problem. You sighed. At least your feet and nails looked fabulous in the heels. You jumped feeling a hand grab your shoulder firmly.

"You seem upset compared to earlier." He said in a monotone voice. You looked up at him and turned around to face him. "I'm fine, I just need to get away from so many people I feel a little overwhelmed." You sighed.

"Well when a vampire is chasing after you 24/7 that might make sense why." He smirked his asshole smirk. You smiled a bit. "Yeah." You sat on the wide balcony railing and looked at Kureto. "Why did you come in here?" You asked curiously. "Jeez it's getting colder out here and it's getting late I should get Amito soon and go home." You thought to yourself

"Well basically everyone left now so I thought I'd come outside, but I saw you here so here we are now." He fixed his gloves and looked at you seeing goosebumps on your arms. He rolled his eyes and took off his jacket. "See now you're cold because you wanted to wear a revealing dress during cold times." He draped it over your shoulders and looked down at you.

You smiled at him. "Yeah now I'm paying the price for it, but thank you Kureto I appreciate it." "Wow he has a nice eye color." You thought to yourself. You started to swing your legs so they wouldn't feel as cold and rubbed your thighs to keep your hands warm.

Kureto watched you move around and chuckled at you. "This is why you don't show off your legs in the beginning of fall (y/n). I don't think that should be appropriate showing off fantastic legs like that in a business meeting miss." You blushed a little at his comment. "Oh shut up it doesn't hurt to look nice every once in a while."

You moved up to emphasize your statement and he bent down further to look at you. "Well look at where it got you." "Well where did it get me??" You asked in his face. One moment later and his lips were on yours and his hand on the balcony on both sides of you.

You stood there for a moment but remembered, "If it's a day to do what you ant for Guren then I shouldn't worry about this." You thought, then you closed your eyes and kissed back. After a while you remembered you had to take Amito home too. You got off the balcony and looked up at Kureto.

"Um thank you for your company but it's getting late and I have to take Amito home now and get him to bed." You smiled at him slightly and he smirked. "Goodnight (y/n), take care." You hurried out of the balcony and went and got Amito quickly and took him home in your arms as fast as you could.

Once you tucked him in after getting him ready for bed you decided to do the same. As you put on your pajamas you sighed sadly. "I wish I would have never saw that ugh it was disgusting." You shook your head trying to shake away the memory.

After getting ready you laid down and fell asleep.

~at work the next day~

Work was very awkward having to walk past Guren without looking at him or earning his daily smart remark. He tried to talk to you but you ignored him. You didn't want to hear any explanation, what you saw was real and you didn't want a sorry excuse for it.

But how embarrassing for it to be Risa of all people!! You feel so stupid. Ugh you can't concentrate on your reports like this. You layed your head on your desk and closed your eyes, falling asleep for a while.

You woke up to someone slamming their hand on your desk. You look up and it was none other than Guren staring down at you intensely. "We need to talk." He said firmly. "What is there to talk about? There's nothing that should have to be explained on what I saw, it was pretty self explanatory that you were making out with Risa, which by the way probably had unwashed dick lips."

You sat back against your chair and crossed your arms, trying to avoid looking at him. He sighed. "Well I was drunk and upset because you decided instead of telling me first to tell the whole world that there was trouble."

"I was scared to tell you I didn't want to worry anyone!" You sat up. "At least now I have some comfort that Corp is gonna have their guard up a bit more and be prepared if they decide to intrude on us! Telling only you wouldn't help the situation, even if you tried to protect me or Amito you can't be here all the time and especially with Risa chasing you around."

You stood up and grabbed your papers then walked around your desk and looked at Guren. "Let's face it, you have your hands full and this isn't going to make things any better, sometimes I need help from other people to ensure safety, and that's what I did." You walked out of your office.
