What Are You Doing??

~the day of the big meeting~

You got ready in the morning, putting on your dress and just some regular little pumps and a gold chain you've had in your drawer for a while, you haven't worn it since forever.

Fixing your hair and adding some perfume you got your things and walked into your living room and grabbed Amito's hand and walked him to Yuu and his squad. You asked them previously if they could watch Amito and to your surprise, they agreed.

You rubbed your head and looked at your watch, about ten minutes left till the meeting. You might as well get some fresh air. You walked down the corridor and took a few turns till you got to the small balcony, opened the door, and rested your arm on the ledge.

You took a deep sigh and looked around at your surroundings. You remembered a time when everything wasn't destroyed and you still had your condo. It was beautiful.....You remembered standing over the ledge of the Hiragi's estate during thanksgiving.

You felt someone roughly grab your arm, you gasped and turned around meeting a pair of crimson eyes and a big sharp toothed smile. "Don't you think it's a bit dangerous to dangle yourself off a balcony after escaping from my army."

"Let go of me! What are you doing here??" You started to pull and yank away. You looked around to see if anyone was watching then looked at Crowley. "What do you want?" You put your hand on the hilt of your cursed gear.

He looked at you and chuckled tauntingly. "Don't be so naive, you know exactly what I'm here for, I want the kid that so rightfully belongs to our side. Since he's half vampire obviously." You rolled your eyes. "You don't even know if he is! He doesn't even have fangs or fruit punch colored eyes like you. So therefore he is NOT one of you."

"That child has vampire blood flowing through his veins and we'll awaken it soon enough. And when that happens he's ours." He looked down at you. "What do you guys even want him for?? You have a bunch of a zillion year old fossils with you already!" You presses your palm firmly against the rail, trying to control your emotions and panic.

"What use is it that he's with you humans, he might as well put his vampire traits to good use and learn our ways." He smiled evilly and turned to the side. "I could take him in like he's my own son perhaps. And I'll even take you with me too, you're not too shabby yourself." He grabbed your chin. At this point your blood started to boil at his stupid words.

"Are you stupid?? He's never call you dad! Tuh! Don't be dumb and say such dumb things!" You bit your lip in frustration. Just as he was about to speak again you both heard walking coming closer to where you were. "Well I'll be taking my leave, I'll be back when you least expect it little lamb."

He smiled and disappeared into another building. You watched as he disappeared and shivered at the thought of his presence. "Jeez he gives me the creeps, is it just because he's dead or because he's a pervert? Maybe both..." You sighed and rubbed your head.

Soon the footsteps got really close, you looked over to see Sayuri come over. "Hey (y/n), what are you up to all alone on the balcony?" She stood next to you. "Just came to clear my head a little before the plans and the meeting you know?"

She smiled sweetly. "I understand, you've seemed pretty stressed lately, especially about your new subordinate Risa and your kidnapping not too long ago. I do hope you feel better soon." You smiled as well. "Thank you Sayuri you're the best."

"Hey it's almost time for the meeting to start, we should go now." She grabbed your hand. "You're right lets go, by the way I love your dress it's a really good color on you." You guys walked away to the double doors and entered, soon taking your proper seats.

Meetings like these were scary with very scary and serious looking international people that are pretty prestigious so it's much pressure trying to keep perfect and impress them. You took a deep breath as Kureto and the rest of your superiors took their seats.

The meeting was three hours long of discussing weaknesses in the vamps and new plans of attack. You were so hungry and just wanted to leave, all of this interaction and brain storming was giving you a headache, but surprisingly Guren hadn't fell asleep yet.

You couldn't stop thinking about Amito, now you had to be VERY cautious who you left him with.  You wondered if you should tell everyone now or never, maybe then he could have better protection. But what if they decided to use him as bait like they did with you??

The wheels in your head were turning and turning just like your stomach was. It was scary not knowing what to do. You looked over at Kureto who was staring directly at you, then he raised an eyebrow, you looked at him confused then looked over at the others hearing your name being called.

One of the foreign Generals looked at you. "Yes?" You responded. "What did you do that made you come out alive and in perfect condition?" He asked curiously. You looked around, everyone was looking at you with eager eyes, even Guren looked generally interested in what I had to say.

You looked back at the General. "Well they seemed to only have me there to toy with me and pry information from me, but obviously I said nothing. I may or may not have caused a few troubles there though. But I'm sure they realized I wasn't an easy opponent to kill."

"And what kind of troubles have you caused with these blood suckers?" One of them asked. "Well while being cornered I stabbed one of the progenitors and tried to flee, killing quite a few of his soldiers and almost bringing the place down." You said hesitantly.

You jumped at the sound of erupting laughter. You looked around to see almost everyone laughing and others smiling an giggling including Guren. You started to blush a bit and smiled awkwardly. "Well General Hīragi you have quite interesting lieutenants here I have to say!" He laughed.

Kureto smirked and put his head on his hand. "Of course." Soon after the meeting finally ended and it was time to eat.
