Not because of pride, incapacity, or arrogance.
But simply because they no longer lead somewhere.

{Y/N's POV}

'God I hope I have everything thing perfect for them?' I think to myself as I'm setting up.

"What if they don't like the food? Did I make too much? Why did I even invite them?" I slap my face and calm myself.

"Come on Y/N don't spike yourself out now. There's no turning back now. You've already decided this. Aaaaand I need to stop talking to myself." I got to the bathroom to take a shower before they get here.

Ok, let me sum up what is going on that I'm freaking out about and why I can't make decisions on my own.

{One Week Ago}

"Hey Y/N where do you need this desk?" Midoriya asks as he and Ida are carrying it towards me.

"Oh put it in the spare room I'm going to turn it into my reading/workroom," I say slightly turning to the side as Kirishima holds me up while I put up some hanging lights in the hall.

Midoriya and Ida walk the desk into the spare and Kiri put me down just as Mina and Jiro come into the hall.

"Hey, Y/N how did things go when you went back to work?" Mina asked

"Well it was fine on the way there but before I even got to the door there were loads of paparazzi there waiting for me. I guess someone found out I and Bakugo are no longer together."

"So what did you say to the press?" Jiro says as we started to make our way to the couch to continue our chat.

The guys continued to work and bring in things while the girls have a chat so it was me, Mina, Jiro, MoMo, and Tsu sitting on the couch.

"I told them that the thing about our personal life should be kept between us and us alone and that they should worry about something that isn't their concern."

"But why didn't you tell them the truth?" Momo asks with a slightly raised tone.

"Because...... Even though we aren't together and I have moved on for my own good. I still care and I don't want to have a scandal that will also be a problem that will end up being too much for my workers and me if all of the paparazzi will be at our doorstep with unanswered questions."

"I guess that does make sense. Kero." Tsu says with an agreement.

"But I will say that when I did get there everyone had planned a welcome back party for me in the kitchen. I guess that's why Rena told me to come in so early before we even open."

"It's just good to have you back Y/N."

"Yeah, Momo's right. We missed you and you worried all of us when we heard you were in the hospital." Mina says hugging me.

"I'm sorry girls I just-?"

"You don't have to explain to us if you don't want to? We know you were hurting and we all should have been there for you more." Jiro says with a small sad tone in her voice.

"How about we don't talk about the sad stuff, ok?" Sero says hugging me from behind and lifting me off the edge of the couch and swing me around. I could hear the others laughing at us and I started to laugh as well.

After everything was put away everyone had left except for Todoroki and Midoriya since they said they wanted to check on me before leaving just to make sure. I guess that is going to be an ongoing thing with them.
