Unexpected Turn of Events

Chapter 1: A new girl and A new boy

"What the hell Adeline why did you sleep with Matthew." I asked crossing my arms while I stared her down.

"Because we all know you would never be good enough for him and well let's face it I'm better than you in every way." Adeline answered taking a step towards me.

 The moment those words came out of her mouth our whole group got quiet. Not one person dared to intervene. Before I knew it my fist was hitting her smack in the face and she fell to the ground not expecting my sudden punch. She stood up and stared at me with shock and charged at me with a mixed look of embarrassment and rage. She pushed me into a wall, but before she could hit me I pushed her back and she fell again. I got on top of her and began to hit her over and over with no hesitation. The next thing I knew I was being pulled off of her and my used to be best friend was kneeling next to her while she cried.

"Shit..Brooke I never thought you would actually fight her." Jade said from behind me.

"Can I let go of you now?" Aubrey asked loosening her grip.

"Yeah I'm good thanks for pulling me off... I probably wouldn't have stopped." I admitted. I looked over to my right to see a few teachers running over to the giant crowd that surrounded me, Adeline, jade, Aubrey, and Grace. All the excited teens blocked the teacher's way as they all chattered on about the fight that had just broken out.

"You're freaking crazy no wonder he cheated on you." I heard grace say from beside Adeline.

"Oh yeah keep talking and I will show you how crazy I really can get." I barked taking a step forward.

"Stop it right there young lady you are coming to the office with me." I stopped like I was told to not wanting to get in anymore trouble then I would probably already be in. I turned my back to the two backstabbers and followed the vice principal to the office.

"We are calling your parents now to discuss your sudden act of violence, but would you please tell me why you just beat the crap out of that poor girl?" the Principal asked looking down at me with disgust.

"It's simple really she said some horrible things and did some horrible things that I guess you could say pushed me over the edge." I said sarcastically adverting my gaze.

"That is no reason to bloody her face that badly." She said stone heartedly.

"Well you don't know what she did and said." I muttered. I readjusted while I waited for my dad to show up at the school ready for the lectures to begin.

Finally my dad walked into the room and took a seat next to me. The principal told him what had happened and he jut nodded and listened not saying one word.

"Brooke will be suspended for 2 weeks we will have a tutor come out to your house and bring her assignments." With that final remark my dad stood up and rapped the rest of the conversation up while I headed to the car.

Once we got in the car we pulled out of the parking lot immediately. Not one word being said. I broke the silence saying "so uh am I like grounded or anything?" I asked looking out the window.
